‘Dragon Ball Z Kakarot’ Gets Open World Trailer Featuring Badman Vegeta
- New Free Roam Gameplay featuring the titular Prince of Saiyans.
- Fans are excited to see the appearance of the classic Badman outfit from the franchise.
- Fighting, Fishing, and Camping are all shown off to some extent.
Fans are getting more and more excited about the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and a new trailer is making them even more interested. The trailer features a bunch of new Free Roam gameplay on Earth, starring the fan favorite Prince of Saiyans: Vegeta. The trailer is only in Japanese for now, but the gameplay speaks for itself.
Right off the bat, we can see some of Vegeta’s iconic moments from early DBZ: His battle on Earth with Goku, his rebellion against Frieza on Namek, all before going into the free roam section. The Free Roam gameplay is very distinct for one reason: Badman. The Badman outfit, Vegeta’s pink shirt and yellow pants, has only ever appeared once before in a game, and only as a special community reward for the Japanese players. This fan favorite outfit is making an appearance in this new game, and it also gives players a good idea of pacing in the game. The outfit appearing means that this trailer takes place clearly following the Namek Saga, and likely falls between the appearance of Future Trunks and the Android Saga.
The game isn’t all just fighting, as you see. There’s collecting, fishing, and much more. The game launches this January on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
