    Hello fellow gamers!

I found my way here after watching The Quartering's "We Just Triggered Every Single Games "Journalist"" video and I thought it was a great idea to have a website dedicated to games ONLY. I found the idea such a breath of fresh air compared to the ugly mud-slinging online political correctness environment that I thought I'd support it by creating a profile and participate as much as I can to the different discussions that are sure to enlighten and satisfy the every-day gamer, along with info on lesser-known games and their creators.
Since this post is in the Introduction section, I will obviously take this opportunity to present myself... a bit.

I am a generation X-er who is overly protective of his private life. I've learned throughout the years that the less one reveals himself to the general public the better off he is. I've understood, albeit late, that there will always be jealous people out there whose sole purpose in life, it seems, is to tear someone's life down out of pure disdain for the happiness that another enjoys out of his hobby, career or family. The trouble with Jealousy is that it quickly turns to Hate. If times have changed, and they have to a dramatic degree, that part of human nature hasn't changed one bit.

I've been playing video games since the first DOS computer I bought for $24 at a flee market in 1994. I consider my immersion in technology to be a late one compared to my friends who had an Atari console back in the 80's and the simple reason is that I've always resisted change. But once I dismantled that first computer to learn what made it tick and put it back together again, I was hooked. I tried to learn everything there was to know about these wonderful machines, so much so that, in a way, it became my profession and I accepted a job as a Network Integrator in 1996, after having wasted three years as a two-bit security officer at a SoCal mall and its neighboring office buildings.

I've touched at a lot of different things throughout my life, from writing, ballistic and cutting weapons to mechanic and technology but the art of pencil / ink / charcoal drawing remains my favorite past time. Yet I've always considered 3D graphic art as an extension of my true passion and seeing these computer pixels come together in a truly awesome ballet of life-replicating scenes got me hooked to computer games to this day. From the old DOS game Snake to nowadays' Skyrim and God of War, computer games have been my companions through life for better of worse, although I've never joined an online gaming community until today.

I'm an introvert in most situations but can be very extroverted when the need arises, especially when Injustice raises its ugly head and innocent people get hurt so, needless to say, the whole Gamergate debacle, while I didn't follow it daily, raised an alarm in my psyche and forced me to pay attention to what was going on in the gaming community. Year after year the controversies ensued to where we find ourselves today. The call of "No Politics in Games!" is a very sensible one for the simple reason, and we can plainly see it today, that politics ruins most everything it touches, Battlefield V being the latest casualty of the insanity that is Political Correctness.

I hope that this Gamers' website will send a clear message to developers and stockholders alike. Gamers want to be entertained, not lectured about so-called "gender equality" and certainly not shamed for wanting to suspend reality around them if only for the few hours a day they spend in front of a screen slaying dragons or building medieval towns.

I salute you all and wish you happy gaming.

Don't let them blame, shame or tame you.

I haven't joined a forum in years. I read a lot but don't join the discussions because I see the amount of anger that is shown and don't want to get involved.
EG is the exception because I believe this can be a place where I can say what I think without having to get involved in mudslinging.
