    Greetings from Minnesota!

I love playing games, though I haven't had much time this year. Currently working and school fulltime. Getting 2 more A.A.S degrees in machining and gunsmithing. I'm looking forward to seeing how well this forum does!

Hah, one of the blessings of owning a farm. Plenty of space.

Lol that's awesome. Unfortunately I don't have the space for anything. Hopefully one of these life times I will lol. I am actually currently researching how to build a c&c machine. Though not plasma or laser, though I've looked at that. I'm hoping to build one capable of cutting titanium, been hard to find a good spindle for a reasonable price. I might settle for one to cut aluminum then upgrade later.

I've come across that YouTube channel but haven't watched any videos yet. I'll have to check it out though.

Do it man. Blacksmithing went from being a hobby to an obsession almost overnight. If you haven't, you should check out Man at arms. It's a youtube channel where they take requests and make weapons from games and movies. They make some crazy shit, like a full size buster sword.

As for gunsmithing, I was lucky enough to pick up an antique engineers lathe from the 1920's. It's old but it's quality. Right now I got my eye on getting a small milling machine and building my own C&C Plasma cutter rig.

Fortunately for me, I live far up a mountain so I can get away with dodgy Frankenstein experiments without prying eyes. I'm setting this bitch up for when the Zombies take over. Fort MethPoodle on Mount Bruce.

For some reason the first thing I thought of was the laptop gun from Perfect Dark lol. If you're familiar with the game. 😊

Very interesting! Between machining and gunsmithing I'll be able to design and make my own gun from scratch. After I get the proper license of course.

That's awesome! I'm thinking about getting into blacksmithing. Depending on what you want to do with gunsmithing, tools could be cheap or expensive. If you have to fabricate parts, then it starts to get expensive. I'm thinking about buying a mini lathe so I can make pins and plungers ect... Also I think it would be fun to use the mini lathe to make rings.

OMG gunsmithing! I'm so jealous. I'm a self taught bladesmith and have been eyeing up the gear to get into gunsmithing. My old man was a tool maker and has decades of machining experience. I'm hoping to learn from him when I can afford the gear.
