Hey, fellow boomers.
Spent most of my life playing games. Not sure I recommend it to anyone else, but now almost all my fondest memories revolve around videos games. Back in the days when there were real arcades with tokens and all that. Double Dragon was the first game I ever beat. Got a Nintendo Entertainment System Deluxe with R.O.B, Gyromite, and Duck Hunt for one of my earliest birthdays. So much time spent indoors playing stuff made in Japan. Hopefully one day I will visit Japan before I die.
I love the possibilities of interactive story-telling that modern gamin has. I hope to write and devlop games at some pointin my life. I used to design games on paper and be a dungeon master. When it comes down to it. I just want to play games... and maybe make games. But really just make games I want to play because I'm not seeing all the games I wish I could play. Once upon a time we all wished for a game like Grand Theft, and Grand Theft 3 came out and it was the beginning of something glorious.
