Anyway, they won't get away, now will they?
So who am I?
Well a gamer...in my early 30s, bit of a history, aviation and train nut.
I like, aircraft, trains, ships, tanks, motorsports, big stompy robots, roleplaying games, good books, cooking, cycling, photography, Star Wars and Battletech, Mods as well as occassional writing.
Gameswise my favourite genres are all of the rather intense variety, aka:
-Flight sims, combat and civlian, (Falcon BMS; DCS World, IL-2 1946, Cliffs of Dover and Battle of Stalingrad, X-Plane 10)
-racing sims, (Mostly Assetto Corsa, R3E=Raceroom Racing Experience, Project Cars 2, rFactor 1+2 and GTR2)
-MIlsims/really realistic shooters Arma 2 and 3, Verdun, Insurgency, Red Orchestra 2/Risin Storm 1+2)
-Tactical Shooters (Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, the old Battlefields)
-roleplaying games, especially the classic group based and some of the classic action rpgs
-certain strategy and tycoon games, (Railroad Tycoon Series, a bit of Wargame, a bit of Homeworld 2)
-Space sims (the X Series, a bit of modded freelancer
-ground combat games/Tank Sims
-almost anything Battletech (favourite is Mechwarrior 3, then also MWO, Battletech and MWLL=Mechwarrior Living Legends a Crysis War Mod)
-train sims. (Mostly Railworks/Train Simulator 201X right now.)
- Star Wars Games...the old ones (X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing, Jedi Knight Series, Kotor Series, Empire at War.
Been a gamer for about 20 years now, seen a lot and it has at times made me predisposed to irony and sarcasm.
Also my country's humour is at times hard to get for those not from it..............
I also like modding my games and sometimes can go on a bit of a roll about that............*whistles* I don't know anymore how many mods my railworks installation contains, nor have I really looked at my Morrowind Installation nor my Assetto Corsa one.
Though it is safe to say, that the Morrowind one would take me about a week to rebuild from scratch, same as the AC one and the Railworks ones are far worse.
Anyway, I wish us all the best with this site and I hope it's around to stay.
It would be great to have a truly game focused site around, and it's a model on which certain niche magazines thrive on.
