My name is IceWolf and this is my first time here on the Exclusively Games forum. I just learned about this site thanks to the The Quartering's Youtube page and his promotion to this amazing new forum.
I am really looking forward to this being my go-to gaming discussion forum, if I am welcomed here. I am also excited for the new gaming website that is to come too as I stopped going to most mainstream gaming sites in the last year due to their political agendas and nonsense that they have promoting in the last 10 or so years that I finally grew tired of; which is getting worse from what I am hearing. For that, I am excited and extremely thankful that someone finally came forward to create a site that is strictly about games for us avid gamers to communicate freely about our favorite hobby.
With that said, here is a little introduction about me. I started gaming around 1979/1980 on the Atari 2600 and Sears Coleco Telstar II consoles that my dad purchased for me when I was around 6 or 7 years old. It wasn't until the NES home console did I really become a gaming addict in 1987. I have pretty much owned every single console, at one time or another, since then except for the Atari Jaguar and the Philips CD-I. My current consoles that I own are a PS4 Pro, PS2 Slim, NES Classic, SNES Classic and Nintendo DS Lite. I am about to get a Gamecube that I bought just recently off of Ebay too; as I started collecting for it. My favorite genres are JRPGs, platformers, action/adventure, 2D & 3D fighting games, as well as arcade-type of games. My all-time favorite gaming series is the Lenged of Zelda, followed by Castlevania and Final Fantasy. Finally, I am currently playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2, PSVR + Astrobot, and a few other titles.
Thank you so much for this amazing forum. Just from lurking on it for the last 15 minutes, I can already tell I am liking the layout and the ease of use just from going in-and-out of pages. I can already see the community is a great community so far too. I hope everyone has a great evening and I look forward to many amazing gaming discussions on Exclusively Games.
