Yeah, I make no bones about it. We will have to be steadfast in keeping this toxic and political poison out of our site. It was very cruel and unjust about what they did to Linko64, but we all have a choice and I choose to stay on board and see where it goes. As far as what Linko64 chooses, at this point he’s got to make the best decision for himself and his family. I bear no ill will or grudge against him leaving, even though it doesn’t sit right with me on how he was targeted in the news. Pleasure to meet you Ghostflowers.

I feel terrible for someone that has to have their family bagged by people with nothing to lose, because there isn't a way to hold them accountable for harassment. I really hope he finds employment, I can find solace in knowing (hopefully) that he doesn't have children. I couldn't imagine not being employed and having kids. Just the evil that is required to dog-pile somebody like this because they couldn't amount to anything but a self-righteous tabloid writer.

In addition, If the position still requires filling I would like to volunteer and even offer the job back to Linko once the heat has died down.

This is very sad to hear. This guy just can't catch a break, public outrage is getting out of hand. Guy makes a tweet and now people are dedicated to making sure he doesn't get job anywhere or an ounce of relief from it. Its really really starting to get under my skin now. I just can't stand for this, since when does someone's upset feelings now have the power to slander and keep someone from work without consequence. I can't wait for this site to launch and hopefully take off and make a dent in the industry.

As for Sean, never met the guy but I really hope he manages to find future work and a successful future and that the vultures and cockroaches that are stalking him and making his life miserable over a tweet disappear. A sad day it is.

But I wish you the best Sean. I was just bragging to my husband last night about how awesome it was that EG was making a firm public stand to have your back and refuse to fire you. I'm sorry that this wasn't enough to keep you on board and I hope you eventually find a career where you'll be happy.

The liars are going to keep lying, until they're held accountable for their lies.

A false accusation is where an unfounded or unsubstantiated allegation is made against a person. A false allegation can occur as the result of intentional lying on the part of the accuser; or unintentionally or resulting from deliberate or accidental suggestive questioning, or faulty interviewing techniques. The accusations can be broken down in three categories:

• An allegation about alleged events that did not occur;
• An allegation that describes events that did occur, but were perpetrated by an individual who is not accused, and in which the accused person is innocent.
• An allegation that is partly true and partly false but the person’s account of the facts implicated the accused person wrong.

The biggest effect that a false accusation has is on a person’s character whereby the accusations made defame a person’s reputation. False accusations may be made by the police or any other person.

You can sue for false accusations made by a person or the police. The effect of false accusations affects a person’s reputation because they are either falsely accused of a crime or falsely accused of act that did not take place. A person can sue under the tort of defamation which may either be in the form of slander, libel or defamation of character. Slander is untrue words spoken orally with the purpose of harming an individual reputation. It must be proven that the individual made the statements maliciously to harm the reputation of a person for their own personal reasons. While libel is where statements are printed that falsely depicts individual in a certain way that ruin their reputation. To prove libel it has to be shown that the printed allegations were not only insulting and offensive but it was in malice. Defamation of character concerns the act of making false statements about a person which blemishes or tarnishes his/her reputation. Defamation of character can either be libel or slander.

False accusation is considered to be defamatory per se category where of false statements are so innately harmful. Traditionally, damages for such false statements are presumed and do not have to be proven. This shows the serious damaging effects that false accusations may have on an individual’s reputation. An example of this is where someone accuses you falsely of rape. It is common knowledge that being accused of rape tarnishes a person’s reputation. A person is awarded damages for false accusations when a defamation claim is brought against them.





These gossipers that call themselves journalists have cost the man multiple jobs, and caused unwarranted verbal attacks and threats on himself and his family. His reputation is ruined. His ability to provide for his family financially is ruined. His mental well-being is damaged.

Sue them. Sue them for everything they have.

I heard about it today, it was the final tipping point on me getting on on the indiegogo for this, having finally been paid, I think what they have done has proven how important it is that this project succeeds.

The sort of hate they have for us is sickening, but it is why it is so important to rise above it.

I never got to interact with linko (unless he was in control of the gog account when I messaged them a while back) but I wish him the best and hope he lands on his feet somewhere that they can't get him.

I'm so sorry Sean, Its not fair what you, your family and friends have had to put up with from a few posts made on twitter. The fact its affected your life is just heartbreaking.

Never met Sean but I do wish him the best & I hope he enjoys being around family during this holiday season and just spend time with them away from the internet for a bit and maybe finds new passions or maybe some old ones and finds a new job that he'll enjoy working there. I just want to say we wish you good luck Sean and hope some day you can pop your head in for a bit and talk with this amazing community. but until then we'll miss you and we are wishing you good luck on whatever your plans may be.

I would like to wish Sean the best of luck and thank him for his contributions to our community so far. It's disappointing that the attacks on Exclusively Games led to this but Sean must have been under a lot of pressure with such scrutiny on his character and work history. I hope he finds work soon and maybe one day we'll see him on the site again.
