    Agree with Tonic on this one, it was more about gender politics than games. Reading the link it's pretty clear what the agenda is.

    In terms of the link itself the only "problem" I would have with it appearing on the site is that it's pretty much devoid of content or value, it doesn't say anything of interest. That's a moot point though, as it's MGGA's thread we're talking about.

    Sorry about all the Fs in my previous posts. I'll keep it civil. I'm trying to understand So you're saying you don't have a problem with that link showing up in the news section of this website, but you do have a problem with @MakeGamesGreatAgain's post about the link? That question is to Aidy but more to the mods Tonic

    I hope you're being deliberately obtuse. The thread was not about that at all, it was an outrage thread about muh sexism. Let me break down the OP;

    Para 1 - highlighting sexism
    Para 2 - highlighting rage at above sexism
    Para 3 - reiterating the sexism
    Para 4 - admission the thread is against rules

    You're seriously telling me that thread was about games and not sexism?

    Let's calm down and keep things civil please.

    ''I know this kinda breaks the rules of the forum, but I wanted to let people know! ''

    Even the OP knew it was breaking CoC, Aileron.

    I'm sorry but what the fuck are you taking about? You said it wasn't about gaming. Discussing what's happening with the stuff the person who literally invented role playing games was working on when died is not about games!? Again WTF. Now for the sexism, or rather the list of forbidden topics, "sexuality" being one of them. I don't see race in that list. Better add it. I'm about to make a thread about racist Nords in Skyrim.

    I added a link to the thread I'm taking about. That thread was about games, designing role playing games to be specific. Also, I acknowledge that it technically violated the CoC, but I question the number of forbidden topics and I imply that the number will grow.

You may have been technically right to close that thread, but I think you were wrong.
    So you want to allow non-gaming threads where people rant about what they see as sexism or discrimination? If you don't understand why that shouldn't be allowed then you really don't get the concept. I say again, this is not The Quartering: The Forums, if you want to talk about that stuff there are a million other places you can do so.

    This has already been discussed previously, it's referring to Multiplayer cheats and hacks, like aimbots, not stuff like the the Konami code. However I will admit, it needs to be reworded, the term cheats are too broad.

    Would you mind sharing more details about the incident? I don't fully understand the point you are making.
