Most sites don’t actually delete posts, usually they have a non-public trash forum where anythng that is removed is sent.

Oh really? I didn't know that, never actually ran a forum before, however for you saying it's a non-public forum means it likely hidden from the users, I more hoping that it was not hidden from the users and allowed anyone to check it , just to allow an extra layer of accountability.
If you like me, that's great! If you hate me, that's cool, just don't hide it.

I'm not attacking you or saying you are doing a bad job, but in the future if we get more moderators, it is possible a few could start abusing that power.

It's tough for a user base to hold the moderators accountable if the posts are straight up deleted, instead if there was a system to quarantine them, it would allow the forums to stay clean from undesirable posts while allowing the user base to help kinda moderate the moderators a little. I have never known of a site actually doing this, so it might be kinda neat to create a distinct moderation system to differentiate ourselves from other sites.
Agreed. I understand why the no politics rule exists, even if I have reservations about it. I don't think straight up deleting a post for violating a rule is transparent, though, and it invites unsettling comparison with the uneven enforcement on other boards I have known. I want this place to be the best place it can be.

This looks like the beginning of something great! I can't wait to be part of this wonderful community! Though some individuals have brought up great points about the rules, I am sure that both linko and Jeremy will do a great job! Also HELLO EVERYBODY AND GLAD TO MEET YOU ALL!

While I'm fine with pretty much everything and think I get the just of it all, I'm wondering how the rule "Do Not Share Cheats/Cracks - Please refrain from publicly posting cracks and cheats for video games." will be enforced in terms of what is meant by "cheating", if this rule also applies to single player games and the modding of them, and if this rule applies to exploits that are seemingly there on purpose.

For example, I understand why the mods would want to ban things like discussions revolving how to obtain and use Runescape botting programs or how to obtain and use invisible wall programs in CS:GO, but I don't know if mods would ban the discussion of speed running tactics in Mario 64 and OoT that can be considered "cheating" or discussions around modding games for the player's amusement, like how to turn everyone into a cat-girl in Skyrim, and, though I doubt it, I also question if they would ban discussion of exploits like where and how to farm Big Metal Dogoos in Megadimension Neptunia VII for fast level grinding or how and where to farm UltraNova in Chrono Cross for an easy Dario fight later on in the game.

Is it okay to talk about the effect of economics on games? Like the effects of the stock market, investors/share holders on studios and the games they make?

Economics isn't politics. But I suppose it's up to the big cheeses on the final decision. Personally I'm cool with economic talk. It's science.

The way I see it, tips and tricks for speed running and whatever would be fine but the issue would come with the CS:GO thing where it affects other players and destroys other peoples experience.. coz it's just a shit thing to do..

Guess that means I can't post my 1000% working Roblox hax here.

I'm wondering how do the rules:
Do Not Post Porn - There's plenty of it online, there's no need to post it here.
                  No Political/Religious/Gender/Sexuality Discussions
Interact with for example games like The Witcher 3, Loren The Amazon Princess or even with +18 visual novels like Muv Luv or Majikoi. These are all legitimate great but now I'm wondering if we can discuss them, would love some moderator feedback.

EDIT: Also how does that rule interact with for example when governments affect esports, like when the Chinese government now made a list of games that should be banned/changed or now about how the Korean government made it illegal to boost (by giving a fine and even prison time) and how does that affect games like Overwatch and League of Legends).
Or about European governments and loot-boxes, all of those things affect gaming as a hobby.

rule 7 is not clear, what about talking of a game that had a dev fired for political reason X?

That would not be allowed, as you'd be talking about politics, not the game itself.

Why would you ever need to post NSFW images to discuss a game?

As for the second part of your question, you'd be welcome to post those topics else well online, but not here given it relates directly to politics. Same way you'd not be allowed to talk about Government outlooks towards violent video games and the like as a topic.

Sharing cheats for multiplayer game is strictly forbidden. We're here to enjoy the hobby, not help ruin it for others.

Glitches and the like for single player games is fine, much as it is in the speed running community circles.

As for cracks, they are not allowed. This isn't a place to share pirated software.

                          Great rules!
just a heads up that tablet seem to be having trouble using the forum. My family has 3 different brand tablets besides laptops and PCs, but using the forum on tablets seems like 2001 dialup internet. Some pages don't fully loaded. And the most annoying thing is you can only reply to a comment, all tablets are unable to post a new topic. It just loads to 80% and stops. Might want to look into that.
                          Great forum otherwise!

I'm sorry, I think I didn't explain myself correctly. I didn't mean posting NSFW content, I mean discussing games like those that have +18 content. But I gather from your response that's allowed.
And regarding the second question, thanks for the answer, I think you're right that it's best to discuss it on another site.

                            Cheers.
