"No Political/Religious/Gender/Sexuality Discussions" So at what point will you expand this list to include every adjective typically included in the bill of rights, charter of rights, etc of most free countries!? A thread was recently closed and I thought, hey, that wasn't political, but then I checked the CoC and oh look, it's no sexuality, not just no politics. You may have been technically right to close that thread, but I think you were wrong.

Would you mind sharing more details about the incident? I don't fully understand the point you are making.Originally posted by aileron View Post"No Political/Religious/Gender/Sexuality Discussions" So at what point will you expand this list to include every adjective typically included in the bill of rights, charter of rights, etc of most free countries!? This has already been discussed previously, it's referring to Multiplayer cheats and hacks, like aimbots, not stuff like the the Konami code. However I will admit, it needs to be reworded, the term cheats are too broad.Originally posted by Lehran View PostWhat's wrong with cheats? So you want to allow non-gaming threads where people rant about what they see as sexism or discrimination? If you don't understand why that shouldn't be allowed then you really don't get the concept. I say again, this is not The Quartering: The Forums, if you want to talk about that stuff there are a million other places you can do so.Originally posted by aileron View Post"No Political/Religious/Gender/Sexuality Discussions" So at what point will you expand this list to include every adjective typically included in the bill of rights, charter of rights, etc of most free countries!? Sorry about all the Fs in my previous posts. I'll keep it civil. I'm trying to understand So you're saying you don't have a problem with that link showing up in the news section of this website, but you do have a problem with @MakeGamesGreatAgain's post about the link? That question is to Aidy but more to the mods Tonic

In terms of the link itself the only "problem" I would have with it appearing on the site is that it's pretty much devoid of content or value, it doesn't say anything of interest. That's a moot point though, as it's MGGA's thread we're talking about.

So these rules don't seem to apply to signatures, where I have seen "political" comments. I don't actually mind myself (i'm a politics nerd IRL) and not someone who only wants to hear opinions they agree with. But, rules should be rules in this case...

I wouldn't think it would be. There is no words pushing a political agenda, its just a funny picture. But lets ask the court, Tonic what do you think?
-
The answer is no, as I'm sure you and anyone else with a brain can tell.

i don't really feel like profile pictures matter too much, (unless they depict really obscene or illegal content). A picture can push a political agenda but even with words the effect I feel is pretty limited. I profile picture I feel like is similar to attire, it can push a agenda but doesn't interfere with a conversation unless politics themselves are brought up in the discussion. As long as you aren't posting political things on the forum, I don't see a problem. If someone gets offended about a profile picture for political reasons, in a sense they in themselves would also be pushing a political agenda.Originally posted by Ratchet2332 View PostIs Kim Jong Uns Head on Mr Incredible considered political?
