    2nd Milestone

Yesterday before I went to work we were around 1450 members. This morning, we are above 2700. Holy crap guys and gals, we exploded in members. I think this is a really really good sign for Exclusively Games. Let's keep it going and see how quickly we can break 5000. If if happens in only a few days, I'll wait to make one of these until 10,000.

And to everyone that has joined, welcome.

I still use reddit, but only for the memes and/or specific information (e.g. a thread about how to deal with certain things in a game). Certainly not to discuss anything. Not anymore.

I'm so glad to have a forum to just talk about games! Keep it going people, we're off to good start.

Congratulations. It's nice to find a place that doesn't draw you into politics.

We just keep getting bigger! I’m very exited for 2019 and we’ll probably gain more members when the app available.

Inside_Smoke same story here. First ever project that I backed, and it quite literary left me having to rely on noodles for a week untill my next paycheck. Worth every penny though.

So happy to see this forum gaining traction! Seems like a great community so far and hopefully that will continue through the launch of the site.

This website (and the thought of what it will become when it is finished) is giving me that warm fuzzy feeling I used to get back when I first became a PC gamer, back in 1999 or 2000 or whenever it was. Back then any website or forum for video games was about videogames by gum. Not a politics or ideology to be found in any of them. I'd log on to Gamespy, join a chatroom for Aliens Vs. Predator 2, chat about Aliens Vs. Predator 2 for a while, learn about new map mods that had been created, download them, then play AvP 2. I'd go to gaming websites that were around back then, I think PC Gamer was around, maybe Eurogamer, I forget, but all of them were about games. No politics, no articles about how gamers are toxic Nazis, nothing like that at all. Just information about the latest games and people discussing them in the forums.

For the last 5 or 6 years I haven't done that. Not just because it's all political and ideological now, but also because these websites are obviously in bed with developers and publishers. They're so obviously getting goodies and all-expenses-paid trips to E3 and stuff like that in exchange for good reviews (or at the very least in exchange for an agreement to never bad mouth their games). I can't even remember the last time I went to a gaming website or a gaming forum to actually read their articles. It might literally be 5 years ago.

But I'm coming here every day to read these forums, and when the site is up I'll be going there every day to see what's new in the world of my favourite life-long hobby - gaming. I even want to write some reviews and stuff myself in the amateur section.

I can't wait. What we're doing here, and what we funded, is a good thing. No matter what spin and bullshit they attach to it on the ideologically-compromised sites we used to love, it doesn't matter. What we're doing is a good thing.
