Can someone point me to the source that these people are using to slander or forum creator and saying he is basically a right handed pen weilder and true naz...trodomus of our time?

I've seen the video coving the comic but I literally cant find anything covering Jeremy's actual political views or ties.

Is there any documented merit to this at all or is it just a wildfire of blind backlash from someone who supports something he covered suggesting it must be true?

Hang in there a while, I think you will find that the reviews will rate each game on there own merit without political skew. They gave already pointed out that this sight is different than his others. There will be reviews from professional writers and there will also be a section for player written reviews. Should keep things pretty level.
But what do I know?

Idk though I'm seeing a pretty big flaw in the concept at this point. We're not going to be taken very seriously here when the creator has a YouTube account actively bashing the popular Dev teams on a fairly regular basis at the same time. It doesn't work like that in any industry that I know of. They will quite frankly just label everyone here as "the quartering fan" over his videos and not even pay attention to anything the site produces. Unless it's brought to their attention by an insider to be horrendously bad and just further gives them reason to label the entire community.

It's just like apologizing for being a dick and then continuing to be a dick after the apology. Completely contradictive and in an industry setting only going to get you and anyone they view as one of your supporters pointed towards the exit.

I'm pretty sure Jeremy won't be doing reviews on the site, he has commissioned professional writers to do that job.

I would ask that you stay around for a little while to see what happens. Ultimately it will be the community here that matters not Jeremy, even though he was the one who took all the steps to start this and deserves that credit. This is a new community with a new approach to the topic of politics in games. It will take time for this community to grow and develop it's own voice in the games industry. As long as we all stay true to the original concept that voice will grow and be worth hearing. I believe this community will be better with more positive voices than with less, welcome.

I don't think he's going to be that deeply involved. It looks like he will have a bunch of contributors and the reviews will be user submitted as well.

I'm not going to condem him for any of his personal opinions. No matter how much I may agree or disagree with them.

My hidden concern here is what to expect out of the game reviews he plans to actually publish on the site. If everything is negative reviews, personal attack pieces, all games bad, tripple A bad, indie your cool cause you got our back, as his current trends are already firmly set, this isn't going to be a good place for me personally. With or without political drama lamas.

I was looking for something new and a little more fanboy friendly.

Jeremy has mentioned it a few times in his videos. Actually - he just mentioned it a video or two ago. He's center, and center-tiny-right with fiscal policies at best (or worse, guess depends on your own view).
