  • Moderators should quote COC directly and underline violation in one message.

"Please read the rules next time" is pretty low effort, you refuse to underline user message and relevant part from code of conduct. Instead of closing threads (with copy pasta message) hoping to achieve something try to point out what rule was broken.

Damn, it is almost like those moderators expect all of us to follow the rules. Who would have thought it would ever be like this.

Let's keep things civil. The suggestion will be noted, but I would ask users keep the topic fruitful and not go off topic

I dunno if that drawing is engaged in misconduct. I think that drawing is offering enthusiastic consent.

Valkyria Chronicles. Attack on Titan 2. Couple that i have bought recently.

Excellent gameplay with the both of them. Valkyria Chronicles has rock hard strategic combat with ground forces and a tank and a great story narrative. Attack on Titan 2 has a really solid Dynasty Warriors meets Spiderman feel and makes you feel like a badass taking down giants.

So the fact that you "do not want to see your anime cartoons this is a video game forum" is fuckin asinine.
The question is are porn games allowed on this forum? Your avatar is clearly taken from a scene during a sexual misconduct between the drawings.

There will definitely be cases of rules lawyering and seeking to find loopholes to the CoC and I wouldn't want the moderators to be put in a position where they cannot properly do their job. I think that a state where threads can be locked for review is also good to avoid this binary situation of locked or not locked. The CoC should probably be adjusted from time to time, but I don't it should evolve into anything too complicated. There will always be some level of inconsistency with enforcement, but as long as it's within acceptable terms then I don't see it being too much of a problem.

I personally dislike pushes to segregate people by their personal preferences such as acceptable avatars or their personal traits like age. We already have sections for specific topics which can be expanded later. I also don't like trying to trap people within their own rules which are almost always never perfectly defined in any case.

It's a forum and as it grows I am certain there will be clashes of personalities, cliques and the like that will happen over time. I don't think that the focus is to have perfect harmony as long as the site remains true to the original goal of keeping politics and agendas out to the best of the staff's ability.

Ignoring OPs history, I'd have to agree with this. While the reason for locking/deleting/banning might be obvious sometimes; other times, the reason might be a little too subtle and letting at least the poster know could be useful and prevent repeat offences.

Dude is it so hard for you to be on topic when creating a thread? The rule you broke was that, how is 'ban anime avatars' even slightly related to gaming? Meta complaints like this thread here will also get your shit locked just like every other forum online.

As far as i can tell, looking though your post history you've come to this forum to shitpost. I gave you the benefit of doubt the first time your thread got deleted a week or two ago. But now i'm starting to believe that you had it coming.
