Entertainment media section and forum layout

I think the forum needs an entertainment media section for discussing films, tv series, music, or books.

Plus it seems kind of strange to me that on a forum dedicated to video games, the actual video game discussion is relegated to a small subsection. There should be an entire group dedicated to it, with separate gaming news, pc gaming, indie gaming, console gaming, and so on subforums.

I don't know where people discuss movies, digital spy? The IMDB forums were cancer, I'm not surprised they shut them down!

It's pretty clear to me what no politics means. It means no SJW stuff, but also no anti-SJW stuff. Period. Except for discussing the actual representation of politics in games.
I don't see a problem with having an off-section for other types of media though. Maybe a small, almost hidden link on the main page somewhere. I mean, where do people go to discuss movies these days? I used to love reading and posting on the IMDB forums but they got shut down.
In my interpretation Exclusively games stands for games without politics, not just games and nothing else. Live and let live, guess it is too much to ask of some people. I understand if someone doesn't want to discuss movies with others, and that's fine, but why try to prevent the rest of us from doing it here?

The politics discussion is in another thread, CBA finding the exact one, one of the CoC ones I think. I didn't mean that we were broaching politics in this thread.

I just wonder how many people are "getting" the concept when in the suggestions section we have one thread discussing what kind of politics should be allowed, and in this one we're discussing what non-game content will be allowed. It seems to me that neither of those concepts are in align with the goal of the site....exclusively games...just games, no politics.
Who talked about politics? Since when is discussing movies / tv series / books considered politics? I don'T get it, how is a separate entertainment media section keeping anyone from discussing games? In fact most tech sites ban political discussions on their forums, that doesn't mean they can't discuss anything but IT.

I don't presume to know what Jeremy's idea was for the forum but if it doesn't allow the discussion of anything but games, then I'm walking out right now.

Either way it's the name of the site, not the attached forum. This is supposed to be a community, and it won't be if we're not allowed to discuss anything but games..

The only-game theme should be OK for the Home site, but for the Forum i think it should be no limit.
BTW, i want an Anime sub forum.
