With the portability and accessibility of mobile gaming, we've had a influx of people who would have never touched traditional games. It takes a decent investment in a console or a PC to play what we consider normal games and some people don't want to fork over hundreds just to get started. In this day and age, a large portion of people have smart phones and they may view gaming as a simple time sink between downtime or a long commute. A CandyCrush clone holds no fair comparison to something like WoW and that's resonable. While I agree that aggressive Microtransactions have found a reliable foothold in mobile gaming, it may take some time for this new group of gamers to figure out their identity and response to them. I personally feel like the strength of the MTX will vary from game to game depending on each game's userbase. But to continue this discussion will probably merit it's own thread.
I say that mobile games should have their own forum or subforum depending on how this site will try and categorize everything. I think the layout will change over time but I can see mobile games having an important part of future discussions like this.
