  • Please, tell us when you get pressure to introduce politics in your site.

Would you please report when and how you get pressured to introduce politics in your website?

Tell us if you are offered money, advertisement contracts, personal pressure, extortion, intimidation. Who does that? Nonprofit organizations, the government, journalists, influential people?

Completely agree with transparency, here. I've seen so many sites end up with this unsettling gap between the users and admins, all seemingly starting with poor communication & misunderstandings thanks to poor transparency.

I understand that some things shouldn't be discussed. But the vast majority of things could be shared with the entire community without negative consequences. Creating & nurturing a real sense of genuine trust on this site is more important than I can probably communicate in this post.

I'm definitely all for anything that will help this site become a cohesive community.

Transparency would be awesome on this subject since this is really what all of us have signed up and potentially donated our money towards. I know I personally dropped $30 on it, which is to say a lot because if I want fast game news I can literally go to Google, and if I want quick reviews I can just look up the meta score.

The fact that I can come here and discuss video games, and type up my own reviews and completely avoid sjw or political content is what makes this unique. I kind of want to see just how much people try to infringe on that.
