Evaluate what is said for yourself. If it's not about gaming, or not in keeping with EG guidelines, ignore them. They will eventually get the hint and leave. Even I get the hint eventually.🙂

I’m not certain that trying to discuss the issue with these types will actually lead to their greater understanding. It will most likely be a waste of time, and if you don’t cater to or bend to their belief, they will take what you wrote out of context (usually) and smear you with it.
Their is a golden rule of the forums of old. "Don't feed the trolls"

Debating is not going to work, simple as that. When users wanting to discus politics, or what-ever it may be when they sign up for the forums that is on the political spectrum, they most likely didn't come here for a civil discussion, just to smear or take something out of context.

The rule "No politics" is clear that's why we came here.

Example I just want to talk about video games, let me step on my Goomba's, and Koopa's in peace without having to discus the monarchy of the mushroom kingdom and how it represents the good or bad of whatever political system is currently being bashed on. It's game, it's fun, lets talk about that please.

Its going to be a constant struggle and we're all going to have to remain vigilant...especially when the site goes live and starts getting on more peoples radar, but we're off to a good start and I have faith from what I've seen on these forums already that between all of us we can handle it!

Exactly let's not get bated, trolled, ect, "Silence is golden" Report bad threads that break the "No Politics" rule and let the Mods weed out the threads and topics out as they come.

Easy, we don't. We go about our apolitical way and pretend they were never here. It really is that simple.

We style on them by ignoring their weakass attack and talking about what we like. Games. 😊

Hahah, brilliant! Let's make this a thing, guys. Every time they try bring politics into the discussion and act "important", let's just walk away and play our favourite game, instead.

                No, Sir, you are brilliant
Nowadays I'm so afraid of my words being misunderstood, or misinterpreted on purpose, that I maybe oughta spell simple things in a simple matter, like you just did

Just ignore it, people are here for game talks, not for 'those people' you mentioned and we owe them nothing to begin with.

My suggestion, use a standard response and delete posts/ban anyone that disrespect the forum policy.
I would urge to use polite language and not offend people. It does not matter what they believe, what they say and what they do, just stick to a polite answer, It will minimize their ability to use your messages as ammo for future attacks.
The site policy needs to be enforced without the adding fuel to the fire, those who present arguments against the site policy are not the enemy. There is no point in trying to argue that aspect, it is the policy, it is not against free speech, there are other sites to express your political opinions and that is all. if you enforce this policy without ever offending, those who disagree with eventually leave it alone.

Anyway, just trying to emphasize that moderators should enforce the policy and avoid discussing the why. My suggestion is that the WHY be put in single post that is shared with those that question why that policy exists.
