Is it/(should it be) ok to post about gaming publishers recent dirty practises?
Why do i ask?
It could be a misleading thing and would require evidence else it could be roaming into the realm of slander.
E.g. avoid getting this game from this publisher [name here] because, maybe they have awful customer services and give no refunds.
Maybe it can be allowed providing one has some form of evidence.... OR is the forum liable for not looking at the post and acting according to the content.
I know it's ok to criticise a company for passive reasons and when evidence is floating around the internet, but one has to be careful about accusation without proof.
The issue of guilty before innocent comes to mind.
I guess this comes under the rules of the server.
Sorry to waste your reading time, if the above isn't a thing in the first place. If nothing else it might promote a form of discussion until it gets irrelevant and can be closed or thread removed.
Also can a thread be requested to be moved or removed and what's the rules on bring up old threads. On steam it's frowned upon. Maybe take some ideas from Steams rules of forums

As long as it isn't used as a platform to discuss politics or simply rant without insight, it is absolutely fine to talk about
I will close the thread as you have your answer

I fail to see how complaining about predatory micro transaction practices, lack of customer service, or calling out a bullshit statement (i.e. people don't want single player games anymore) from a company would be a political thing.

What does it have to do with mainstream politics? It is directly related to gaming (buying games, so discussing developers, publishers and stores) which I thought is this platform about. I don't see an issue until you start pushing political agenda (e.g. discussing why X is better than Y in context of political parties, movements or ideologies).Originally posted by TheDarkMaster2 View PostSince this a place for no politics so no
