    A YouTube category

It would be great to have a YouTube category on the forums where we can post about our favorite gaming YouTube channels and videos.

Totally agree, just a section where we can talk about any game related videos (incl. streams/channels etc). I would love to see and chat about forum members favorite videos/channels that are in line with the Exclusively Games "no politics" rule. If self-promotion is an issue then I think the rule should be that only the fans/viewers of the creators use the forum category to post about their videos, not necessarily the creators/owners themselves.

And perhaps instead of the section having 1 thread for each creator talking about each game, the forum creators section could have 1 main Game Thread (lets say "Red Dead Redemption 2") where all links be posted under.

It should be more than just Youtube , there's at least twitch and some creators post much of their content on patreon and hopefully something comes a long that offers an alternative. I know bitchute is out there but still small, but who knows what tommow may bring.

Maybe a video game content creators section? Or something that doesn't just imply YouTube?

Can I have a link to the promotion subsection?

I second this. I think I would be great fun to discuss and promote our favourite YouTubers. Maybe if we keep it specifically to gaming YouTubers though? And that can include TCG and TableTop channels.

I don't think it would count as advertisement. What he's suggesting is an area for people to talk about their favorite content creators. Anyway, the forums already has a self-promotion subsection, so it seems like the moderators don't have a problem with people advertising content.
