Great games on sale

Hey guys,

I am not sure if this is a good idea for a lot of people but for a while now I have been buying older great games that have gone on sale due to time. I am a college student and cannot always flesh out the 60 dollars for a new title (although KH3 will be mine on midnight of release) but for the most part people in my shoes can't always go out and buy the newest game for the release price. That's why I thought it might be a cool idea to have a forum or something of games that have been out for a while and that have gone down in price, or perhaps places you can get these newer games for cheaper. I just saw the God of War is on sale and I will probably buy it now since it's only 25 bucks at Best Buy right now.

I like this idea. I've also been on a kick of waiting to buy games until they are on sale, and it would be nice to be able to scan through a forum here for good deals.

I think it's a great idea too. I tend to wait for digital sales (thank you Humble) and buy my games that way. Having a section for people with eagle eyes to post possibly interesting sales would be my cuppa joe.

I use https://isthereanydeal.com/ to keep track of sales. Get alerts/emails telling you what games you're watching are on sale. Does a good job for the most part and you can sync it up with your steam wishlist. Also shows recent/popular sales on the front page.

Absolutely. There is more than one thread going on about that. Look for a gog.com thread. But there is no deadicated subforum at this time

Maybe that deal site has a plugin or something which could be used on the main site.

This is the way to do it. Buy older good games. Avoid new trash.

I feel you Danka, I'm still working on games that released in 2016. You make a great suggestion though and I would love to see this added to the forums.
