I buy physical and digital I have my eyes set on GoG since its no DRM. With Digital only, its really up to the user to be sure they have a copy of the game somewhere on a drive they can access. You can't undownload a game to make room and expect to download it again later.

Doesn't the Wii web browser suck? I mean you don't have anything better to access the internet.Originally posted by wariodude128 View PostAs long as I can still access the internet and use my Wii remote as a controller, I couldn't care less. Wouldn't be surprised, since the Wii Mini has no internet capabilities, its obvious that Nintendo thinks that connection capabilities aren't important for the Wii any longer. I mean they didn't even bother putting an ethernet port on the Wii Mini. However unless they send an update to the Wii, I can't imagine the Wii messaging being disrupted that it can't communicate at all.Originally posted by farqs View PostAlso, there is some vague talk about other connection capabilitiesbeing shut down. If you haven't added the Homebrew channel via LetterBomb it may be a good idea to do so in case messenging is disrupted.

Netflix seems to be doing everything they can to keep option alive for existing users. Good customer service. It is rare these days. But they have no means to support those who havent downloaded channel prior to now. See link.Originally posted by Hyperweasle View PostI'm surprised i's still up and didn't close years ago, seriously all the other online channels are dead, I was expecting them one to already be as well.

Apparently another casualty of this will be loss of channels that access third party content like Netflix. Not sure what the work arounds will be if any.

"download any games you have purchased over the years to SD card."
Let's explain this sentence : If you don't backup your games and your Wii dies, you lose all your games...
Unfortunately, people won't get this lesson. All I hear is "what a great time to be a gamer", or "current year had great games" yet no one seems to realize that those "great" games won't be available in 10 years from now... Either gamers are short sided, or these games aren't really that great or people would demand devs to stop making DRM, day one patch, downloadable content (not DLC...) etc... Or maybe both...
