I collect consoles. I play mostly using flash carts. I do collect some games, mainly Super Famicom in the box. I love the Japanese boxes and the usually nicer art.

I used to have a huge collection of games, mostly JRPGS but had to sell a lot. Slowly rebuilding it. Also I have almost every One Piece manga volume, and nearly every Godzilla film. And several Gundam figures.

I member when my collection looked like that. Now it's two shelves and not a whole book case.

    Xbox One
    PS4
    Switch
    Wii U
However, with modern systems I am increasingly wary of games that are physical in name only like THPS 5 was.

    3DS
    DS
    GBA
    GBC
    GB
    Game Gear

    360
    Wii
    Xbox
    PS2
    GameCube
    Dreamcast
    N64
    PS1
    SNES
    Genesis
    NES
    Atari 2600

I also like those so-called Plug n Play systems like the ones from Jacks Pacifics but they do take up a far bit of oddly shaped space so I go easy on them and their various revisions. I also like Tiger handhelds and a few of boxed retro PC games mostly from the late 80's/early 90's.

What about you guys? What are you collecting?

Its funny because I don't have a PSP either haha.

Metal gear solid and Mass Effect collection. Don't collect much any more. Just the odd game and soundtrack.

I collect random toys that spark my fancy when I am shopping for groceries or other things. This includes table top game models, like Star Wars X-Wing ships and Armada Ships. Also Heroclix, if the figure model looks good, I enjoy a nice rotating visual experience on my shelves to change things up in my living space.

I only collect videogames. The way I go about it is I buy games I really look forward to on disc, and digital games are mostly games that I know I will play a lot and never return afterwards.

Oh btw, I used to collect Hearthstone cards, which is a weird thing to collect since they're digital. But I was so into that game for a while, that cashgrab though.

Movies and Games mostly with a slight interest in physical collectables.

I much prefer physical copies of my games but I tend to only collect those now on consoles as well as the consoles themselves.
I've far more interest in collecting older games over newer ones though, with Pc being my main platform and a declining interest in newer games for many various reasons I just don't find myself buying new games that often but rather investing far more in remakes and old games instead.

Currently collect a few random games for 6th and 7th generation systems since they are dirt cheap at the moment along with a few Saturn games here and there mostly Japanese. I actually use emulators for N64 and Playstation 1 games along with older consoles since the prices of physical copies are super high. Emulation for these systems is also near perfect, unlike the 7th generation consoles where you are lucky to get 15 FPS on beefy hardware. I also hope Sega releases some Saturn games to the Switch or a Saturn Mini NOT made by ATGames since games are super expensive and the emulation is garbage.

I try to collect old consoles and games these days. There's a lot of games I didn't get to try back in the day and they're super cheap today. I also collect some figures.

    I collect G2 size steelbooks.
Any game, any platform, as long as it is a G2 size steelbook, me wants!

I collect gaming consoles and cartridges, and I am lucky enough to have most of the major consoles. I recently filled a hole in my console collection by ordering a WiiU. I'm actually really looking forward to Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE, and Fatal Frame V. They are pretty much the reason I bought the console. I still play most of my consoles regularly. Right now, I am on a Super Famicom / SNES Disney kick, and am currently playing Magical Quest 3: Mickey and Donald. It's an excellent platformer with wonderful sprite work. On my modern consoles, I am playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Yakuza Kiwami. I will admit, I don't have a huge game collection. I have maybe 5 or 6 hundred games, which seems like a lot, but isn't that much compared to die hard cart collectors. I am always looking to add new games to my collection however, and I don't discriminate when it comes to how retro it is. I'm just as happy picking up a PS3 game as I am a SNES/Super Famicom cart. Outside of gaming, I collect watches. I am an engineer by trade, and watches have always fascinated me.
