I would like to see GOG come out on top (purely on grounds of service, they did a nasty thing to our former community manager). Because they are the only company that A) don't have DRM, so the product is really yours and B) they seem to be the only company on the list that don't ban on false grounds (like simply using a VPN) and lock you out of your games forever. The last one is a really bad practice and we should be very relentless is condemning such behaviour. Those companies should provide our service for a fee and shut up about whether or not we get to say or do something unrelated to their service.

There is never a valid reason to take away a product someone has bought legally.

It's a shame Steam has such a monopoly, but I contribute to it myself.
I've bought The Witcher 3 from Steam instead of GOG because I like all my games in the same client (plus GOG allows for Steam games to be added to my GOG list for free).
The games that I do buy from GOG are classics for nostalgic reasons (SWAT 4, Neverwinter Nights etc).

The best thing the other clients can do is to be different than Steam. GOG is doing that with releasing classic games. I really like GOG and hope it grows.

Epic will fail miserably as they want to directly compete with steam without bringing anything new to the table. The only reason I open their launcher is to grab the free game and log off again. I did the same with Origin when they had their 'On the House' giveaways. That ended and I haven't opened the launcher in months.
The store has maybe 20 games at the moment. They need to find a niche market or it will fail. Fortnight's success will end. A new game will pop up and everyone will play it. And noone will use the Epic Launcher.

It would be great to see competition. it will be good for our wallets!

While I wish GoG was the dominant distribution platform, I don't consider them in the same league as Steam. Steam is the behemoth of the industry for better or worse.

My vote would be between Steam and GoG but i still voted Steam since they are already covering some of the big multiplayer games and are pretty stable as a platform. Discord is just retarded... they are forcing phone verification and they remove your account if you do not want/ can't do it. Epic games....who? I hate Fortnite, i hate what it represents, i despise people that like it....spreading mediocrity in the gaming world...
