Even if they are being made to push a game out early, why Elder Scrolls VI? Since people knew about it sooner, I assume Starfield is further along in development, so it won't feel as incomplete as ESVI, plus it will give them more time to finish up ESVI.

From my understanding at the time of the announcement trailer TES6 just entered pre-production. Wasn't there also word from Bethesda that stated that Starfield would be releasing before the next Elder Scrolls title? Does not seem feasible nor wise on Bethesda's part to rush this. They need to make this one count if they hope to recover from these back to back to back fiascoes.

i think its the other way around. they wanted to make big money with fallout76 and after the desaster they try to push out one of their main selling ip's as fast as possible. i bet it will be an unfinished and unpolished desaster (more than a normal vanilla elder scrolls game)Originally posted by GermanCrayon664 View PostThere's a theory explaining how Fallout 76 could have been thrown out immediately so that the team would go back to working on projects they want to work on, but take that with a grain of salt

Well if that happens, then I hope they take some of the ideas I had for an Elder Scrolls 6 into consideration. Which ones? The ones I made in a thing I posted on Deviant Art some time ago. If you're curious, and it's allowed, here it is: https://www.deviantart.com/wariodude...deas-717739383Like my troll posts? Buy me a game! https://store.steampowered.com/wishl...08/#sort=order

This is going to be a mistake of epic proportions. Bethesda isn't publicly traded so 'investors' are not the ones they need to be worried about, it's going to be who will actually be bothered to go out and pick it up. The fact that it hadn't even been worked on when the trailer dropped means less than 2yrs of hands on work. It was also reportedly be using the same engine that's been used the past decade. It's a real shame that this is probably going to be the straw that breaks the camels back.I'm not saying we should weed out all the stupid, but rather just take off the warning labels and let it sort itself out.

I for one cannot wait to pay £50 for my Skyrim 6 empy box with a download code. Or £120 for the collectors edition with a full size cloth dragon poster... I mean a napkin someone scribbled on. Then spend £10 for some cool clothes for my character (ripped from Skyrim). Then pay £14.99 for some mods to fix the UI and patch out all the shitty bugs. Then of course I'll have the privilege of exploring a vast wonderfull world filled with unkillable NPCs, copy-paste linear dungeons, mountains you can climb, horse armour, fully simulated NPCs who are just like real people and nothing is scripted, and of course... Mountains you can climb. I can only hope it will be always online, so Bethesda can be sure to wring as much money out of everyone. They're quite hard up for cash according to noted average gamer and completely honest dude, Hodd Toward.
10/10 GOTY anyone who doesn't buy it is a nazi.

I know that majority of people loved Skyrim (TeS 5), but I found it pretty boring. Yes, there is a lot to explore, but in comparison to Morrowind... I just can't enjoy it as I did Morrowind. I am not buying games on hype anymore. Hype used to mean something, these days it's just marketing ploy. So, I honestly hope TeS 6 be as good as Skyrim in looks (just updated graphics) and as good as Morrowind in gameplay... But that's just me, not a lot of people agree on that. So, I will wait for it to be out for few months, and get honest reviews from people who play it, to consider buying it.
