didn't TPB get yeeted some years ago finally? I can remember other people trying to host mirrors but they didn't have everything or something. I haven't followed the firesharing scene for a while so I don't know what the latest and greatest is for different things anyhow.

Also I agree, the internet itself is great, its people who are trying to stop you from using it who aren't. If you are in China the internet probably doesn't seem all that amazing and rather cumbersome to use.

This is one reason I appreciate people who break DRM on games and preserve them as well as physical games. They both preserve the media. It is nice to just own games. My friend for example has that scott pilgram side scrolling beat em up that you can't buy anymore anywhere on his PS3, which sucks because it was a good game. Probably makes his PS3 valuable, I don't really know. But if not for people buying physical games or ripping the files and keeping them there would be a few games lost to time. Same issue with early Doctor Who Episodes, the BBC were idiots and just destroyed a lot film. In the USA at least the Library of Congress exists to preserve lots of old stuff too.

Anyhow. It is possible that a new agreement could be hammered out and the games may return for purchase. Until then I'd say try to find used copies on ebay. If you exchange data with your favorite buddies over the internet that is an option too.

I think it's a licensing thing. Hasbro pulled the rights a while ago. Some other games, like Deadpool, went too when their rights were also pulled.

It is a licensing thing. They pulled them awhile ago. Deadpool, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Legend of Korra are gone too. When they stop bringing in money they don't pay to renew the license. It has nothing to do with moving to battlenet.

I assume it's just a licensing thing, the same thing happened to Deadpool a few years ago and some other Marvel games earlier than that. Just one reason why I prefer having physical copies of games.

My thoughts are either Activision is moving to a different store, i.e. the epic games store or they plan on making their own store. Or maybe they are just being a holes.

This happened ages ago, like years and years I think. Activision lost the rights so couldn't carry on selling them if I remember correctly. Luckily I bought all of them at launch so I can still play them when I want. For the rest of you I recommend piracy. The War for Cybertron games are really great if you are a Transformers fan. Devastation is good too, but it's gameplay isn't very transformer-ey IMHO.

Luckily we're not in that SaaS dystopia where the installs disappear off my hard drive yet.
Unfortunately, Devastation is gone too. Here's hoping they will come back. Till All Are One.

Oh, how it pains me to say this. If you felt you could have waited an eternity to get around to playing Fall of Cybertron, War For Cybertron or Devastation,
