If it is discovered that fraud occured no matter how material during this investigation, it may very well be the reason executives were jumping ship (because they found out and did not want their fate to be tied to it). Furthermore, if Activision’s 2018 annual report is delayed, (since EA’s is out, but not Activisions), it could also be an indicator of some material findings in their fiscal year end audit. Note: Typically when the CPA firm delays an audit (if 2018 is delayed), especially a large firm and large client, its not good or at least it raises eyebrows. CPA firms want to make sure if they do find something material they have thoroughly reviewed it to ensure it wasn’t a mistake before they release their findings. Also the CPA is paid by the client I.e. Activision and also has other high profile clients, so they have to be very careful in how they present their findings, so as to not alarm their other clients.

    We shall see.

I think that is some lazy shitposting. you might want to provide some text and opinions if you are going to make a thread topic about anything in particular.

This is so great for multiple reasons, and also proves what a moron Activision is.

Like a bungie cord, they went deep into a contract with a company. Then, when they had had enough, they came back up to safety.

I'm hoping for new IPs rather than just doing Destiny 3.

Bungie was never required to do just Destiny. Activision was only the publisher - they didn't own any part of Destiny or Bungie.

I know that, however Bungie already stated they have plans for "Destiny", so they are going to focus on that for now instead of making something new.

Why would they need to make a sequel to Destiny? That game will last ten years, remember?

I'm still very skeptical that Destiny 3 will be any good but maybe Bungie will bound into the realm of quality again. It depends how much Netease will seap into their company culture
I'm crawling deeper and deeper into backlog hell
