F76 never stops failing...Bethesda being incompetent yet again

Sometimes I wonder if they're intentionally going for the worst approach possible in a "no PR is bad PR" way. but then hanlon's razor smacks that mindset out of me. Seeing the fall from the position I've had has been astonishing to say the least.

One way they really could have saved face is by brushing off or giving a tongue in cheek congratulations over reaching the room. Like someone mentioned earlier, Halo series is known for having out of bounds areas, instead of 'insta-banning' they left little things for the fans. The way they've been handling it since launch has me on the side that just doesn't want anything else that Bethesda is going to peddle. I even kept playing 76 with all the buggy brokenness it was, up until they nerfed all the resources needed to fix all your crap.

Is it really 10 dollars? Hell, I'd buy it for that price with no second thoughts.

@MadMummy76
wait, so you confirm what i am saying by acknowledging, "Of course the servers have to be public to be able to connect to them." but i cant be taken for my word somehow? tell me how that works, lol. sounds like you are just butthurt that i called you out for spinning a narrative. at least i acknowledged i misspoke and corrected myself. your entire comment is just a way-too-elaborate way of saying "nuh-uh, you are!"
btw, i noticed in the video i finally clicked did not show the person actually doing the power armor wall glitch. so do the same rules apply to you? mind providing proof of someone actually getting in here with the glitch? i'm skeptical. jesus christ, mum.

Also it's not that unlikely the game will go free to play in the future.Originally posted by fenrif View Post
There are plenty of good games, made by developers and publishers with a moral compass and compotency, available for a fiver. Spend your money on them instead.

If it gets discounted to 5 I might buy it just for the hell of it. It's not far, already selling for 10. I wonder how long will they try to keep the farce going.
At this point, they need to say: We done fucked it up, and as a sign of good will we're removing micro-transactions. Maybe then they could start the long arduous process of redeeming themselves.
The only question at this point is whether Bethesda looses all the good will people still have left over from oblivion / skyrim.
Or they'll try to sell it as Fallout oversaturation to their shareholders

Would you not blame builders for leaving their tools lying around on city square? Hey we might need those later, let's just leave the digger next to the statue.

I've played ESO in the actual beta, it was infinitely more polished than F76 is. But it was just an MMO, and I'm yet to see an MMO that I'd like.Originally posted by PriestTroit View PostSo is this a case similar to how in the Halo games you could find hidden areas if you did certain tricks, or did these people hack into the game somehow? Pretty big difference if you ask me.
Sigh... If Bethesda wanted to do an MMO spin-off of Fallout, I don't get why they didn't outsource more of the work from studios who are experienced with MMO games. So many of these issues could have been avoided. Or at least they'd have someone to point a finger at. So weird how ESO wasn't nearly as jacked up as FO76 is even though they had Zenimax working on both titles. Eh... maybe I'm misremembering how bad or good ESO was. Both games had horrific launches, but what MMO didn't?
