The music is way too loud as others have said. I don't necessarily hate background music. I guess a person just talking can be a bit boring for some people. Another big problem is he sounds like he's in a bathroom or echoing hallway. His latest development video for Exclusively Games doesn't have this problem, but at least one other recent video has this bathroom effect. As an aside, did anyone other than me used to watch him speeded up to 1.5x or 2x? YouTube let's you do this in the settings, but they seem to have changed it and I can't anymore. I want to hear what he has to say, but he's... talking... so... slow... ;-)

Good point. If you are talking directly to the camera I don't think there is a need for background music; it really only works if you're doing an actual voice over.

It's possible that Jeremy is just experimenting a bit with the format in the lead up to the website launching. Probably getting a little inspiration from Hype Break since he works closely with Ian Miles Cheong who co-founded Hype Break and is also apparently the website editor for Exclusively Games (?).
