All I've really kept an eye on in the last few years is ESO, fightincowboy, and rykker all on YouTube. Wouldn't necessarily call any of it news, but they all seem to like the games I like so I usually hear about new games through them. Mostly fightincowboy. Cause dark souls.
But beware "the donut incident". It will change your life.

I've found that All Games Delta is pretty good. No editorials, opinion pieces, or other BS. Just news about videogames.

Anything that isn't polygon. Not because of those articles (you all know the ones), but because they're just inaccurate in general. Hell, I'll even go to ign sometimes if I have no choice.

I like this guy. He's a very laid back, charismatic dude with a wicked South African accent that I find oddly relaxing (almost like ASMR lol).

Everyone has a bias no matter who they are. If you go to YouTube, you're either gonna get shills, click bait or angry rants (because they pay the bills) or regurgitated news you can read on any handful of sites. There isn't any single internet news source that I trust. If something is important enough, I'll hear about it or see a headline at which point I'll do my own research on the topic. The only way to get the truth on the internet is to piece it together yourself.

I have no preferences, as long as someone is telling the truth in what they report, and that can be verified by a number of different sources, I don't care who you are, especially since occasionally everyone gets it wrong, like with the Spyro download controversy that no one looked into enough before getting angry about it.

Just a few with the links:
Click a link below to go to their channel, (I'll fix the links if not working correctly, I need a place for my bookmarks
):
Some informative, entertaining or both. A trusted / balanced approach I think is key, but like all humans mistakes can be made in videos just like the AAA industry with games, judgement is reserved till after watching, research and some common sense.

I follow a YouTuber, Az on his channel "Heel vs. Babyface." He's a real hoot and pulls no punches with the industry.
