A fair opinion; I think that the things you don't like are what attract me. It's a setting (cyberpunk) that has not been done so much compared to fantasy, so a change will be nice. While there are a few good games in the theme, they are few and far between, especially quality ones. Shadowrun was fun, and I like System Shock so something in that area made by CDPR is very appealing.

Cyberpunk 2077 is my current "Blind HYPE!!" game. I've played various cyberpunk games, both tabletop and video game versions, as well as read several books and more. The genre itself has rarely been given proper representation, but I trust them to make a great game.

And to quickly touch on the FP part of the game, I thought it was going to be Third Person, but FP can help bring you more into it and everything so far looks awesome about it.

The only game I am allowing myself to be overhyped for, I trust CDPR; only game I will be pre-ordering the best edition they offer on. Already put aside the money to buy a new PC to play this game on max, current gaming laptop is 2 years old, so by the time this drops it should be time for an upgrade anyways.

CDPR did an amazing job with Witcher 2 and mainly 3, so our hope is not misplaced in the "quality" department.

I just hope I don't need to upgrade my entire rig to play it. GPUs are quite expensive these days.

Was excited, but probably not going to play it now considering what they did to Linko90.

I'm looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077, as I have always had fun with CDPR's games before. I am a big fan of Cyperpunk games and books, so picking this game up will be a no brainer for me. I thoroughly enjoyed The Witcher series, so I know they can make an appealing game! I hope it turns out as good as I think it will be!

I'm definitely excited. Though I am holding reservations, seeing as it is a direction they haven't been tested in before.

I think Witcher 3 is the best game I've played in a looooong time so am excited for Cyberpunk 2077. The first person perspective did put a dampener on that excitement a little, but I think (and hope) CDPR will pull it off and it'll be a fantastic game.

Excited, I haven't played a good cyberpunk style RPG in quite some time. I'm hopeful CD Projekt Red will not politicize it and just produce a good RPG.

Very excited, however it is important to keep ones expectations in check and give CD Projekt Red the necessary time to complete their mission...

I'm excited, but worried. To be honest, the gameplay preview we got a look at didn't really impress me all that much. Mind you, it's an early build, and I'm sure there will be plenty of changes for what we actually experience upon release.

I'm a little less worried, because it is CD-Projekt Red, but at the same time... the quality of so much in video games has just been nosediving off a cliff. So we'll see. I'm probably unnecessarily pessimistic, but so be it. I'll almost certainly be picking it up shortly after release regardless.

Shooters (1st person, 3rd person, etc) are not my thing, in general if a game has a gun i am no playing it (exception is Red Dead Redemption 1&2).
However considering how amazing the Witcher games are i will give CD Projekt Red the benefit of the doubt and wait for more info before deciding if the game interests me or not.
