Obsidian is always pushed to get games out before they are ready. They have always been good regardless. The cut content mod for KotOR2 is like a full dlc. The game would've been massive.

I'd say that's subjective, I have more invested into this than Wasteland 3 myself. Still, if you're looking forward to a game I'm not going to knock it. Hope it's good!

Color is an old habit from a different forum, used to be the easiest way to find my posts quickly and reply to people since I was active in almost every aspect of that community. Now I just like doing it.

2019 is stacked with some games I'm really pumped for, like Metro Exodus, RE2 remake, DMC 5, etc. However, I can't think of any RPG's coming out in 2019 that have the potential of this game. (Cyberpunk notwithstanding)

The most promising RPG game of 2019 is Wasteland 3.

This. I actually enjoy diversity in characters as it allows for more in debth writing. A universe can open up ways to create a character that isn't possible in other settings. For example, I love old world blues more than any other DLC in FNV. They explored humans who lost their humanity by becoming robots in a way that was actually interesting. It was used to push a narrative and I loved it. In fact, this kind of creative storytelling is why I love FNV and why I am hopeful for Outer Worlds. Caesar's legion pronouncing the name incorrectly because they've never heard it out loud, the kings imitating an individual who was long since dead... it created a charm I fell in love with. I wish there were more games that did things like that with their stories.

(As a side note, anyone have an issue with the color? I know it clashes with default white backgrounds since I usually use it on darker backgrounds, want to know if it's annoying and if I should switch to a different one.)

Curious about what you found aggreges in StarOcean I don't remember anything that off the wall but I played it when it came out so it has been awhile. I liked it generally but the story was kind of meh. Loved having like 10 party members at the same time super fun.

I feel like a lot things that can ruin games I'm looking forward to are things I can easily ignore or not be bothered by as much when they aren't pointed to me/discussed constantly by the media or on YouTube. So if I'm really looking forward to a game the only thing I want to know is if it's not completely broken from a technical standpoint.

So far it looks great. Since it's game done by Obsidian I'm HIV possitive it will be a good game. I also think it will be the last good game from this studio since it got recently bought by Microsoft and most studios that were doing great games are ending up making crap games aftert being bought by them.

Yeah so Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky are in there. They were pretty influential on the original Fallout so hopely that'll bear out in The Outer Worlds. Still, the other 3 in that list are gone so that's most of the dream team gone eh I'm pretty sure I'm missing one person on that list as well.

Ah okay I saw a youtube video somewhere where they only listed Xbox as the platform, but that could be a mistake. PC is potato though, so still no game for me
