I am usually attracted to personality not looks... And since those characters you create by yourself by definition will be a blank slade... yeah no. I usually just create what I think looks really cool. That's it.

I can respect that. An anime waifu is not one you want on your bad side. She IS your waifu, after all.Originally posted by Tech_0ne View PostMy anime waifu would get jealous if I did.

I never make my characters look like myself because they are not me, I don't pretend to be my protagonist but instead imagine a personality for them and play from that perspective (or play with the personality given me, depending on the game). I like attractive or interesting characters, they don't have to be sexually attractive but they should have a look that intrigues me; they should look like someone I'd want to hang out with in that setting (or run from, if I'm playing a violent evil character).
My characters are always female when I'm given the option, however, as I connect better with a female protagonist. I can play males just fine, if not given the choice, but I have my preference.Last edited by JackofTears; 01-22-2019, 06:10 AM.

Most of the time, I just try making a hot chick. Depending on the RPG, it could span anywhere from tens to hundreds of hours. Might as well make something that, you enjoy looking at for all those hours, than some ugly creation you thought looked funny at the start. Unless the RPG has some more immersive aspects to it outside of just fighting and leveling up, then I might try making a lookalike.

Something I learned after a couple of attempts into the MMORPG genre; if you're going to spend 95% of the time staring at an ass, at least let it be an ass you enjoy looking at.

When I was like way younger I kind of did. But all my characters I more or less view as an extension of myself, even when they're female now. It's fun to imagine being something that you're not in real life. Even if that something is a pretty blond girl.
