After the teaser for Dragon Age 4 dropped, my YouTube feed was flooded with quite a few DA4 theory videos. What are some of theories or predictions you expect in the upcoming game?
My theory:
DA series spoilers>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So, I started another playthrough on DA:Origins, with a Dalish warden, and I'm trying to glean all of Tamlen's knowledge of the Veil, Arlathan, and the ancient elves. I realized I had forgotten all about the Eluvian/mirror being corrupted by the Blight itself. I'm also sure that Red Lyrium is corrupted by the Blight, meaning Lyrium is alive in some way (thanks Bianca). Since Lyrium is linked to Titans and are basically god-like, is there a link between Titans and the Archdemons/old gods? Are those old gods the Tevinter mages who stormed the Black City or Elven gods? If they are Elven gods it would make sense why Solas would be so angry with the Grey Wardens, whose sole purpose is to kill archdemons... SO, I'm thinking that Titans, the Old Elven Gods are both corrupted by the blight (darkspawn and red lyrium are the results), but are they also connected to each other.

Well, Solas gave that artefact to (I forget his name) that main villain of Inquisition, he knows Flemeth very well as they seem to be on close terms in that end scene, given his confidence and knowledge over these 2 immortal characters, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the incarnation of a god's power trying to rectify the creation of the blight and man's inevitable curiosity that lead to it.
I imagine he will be a very complicated villain.

I could have sworn that was hinted at/ confirmed a while back but it may have been a rumor. If it is set in Tevinter I may be misremembering but I am pretty sure they are still in the middle of a war, which could be a cool setting but can the current Bioware pull off something like that along with whatever role Solas has to play.Originally posted by Tech_0ne View PostI hope its set in Tevinter.
Though with EA taking the huge hit to the wallet they have over the last year, they will likely heavily monetize the next DA game.
Though I wonder if this will be a spinoff title where the setting is the actual events of the Dalish legends of the Dreadwolf. As the title bears his name and the legends have always been hinted at as being actual events in the DA world.

Not really sure what path the story will take but I hope we see the Hero of Ferelden, Hawke and the Inquisitor come together with the new protagonists to fight the Dread Wolf.
I hope its set in Tevinter.
I always thought red lyrium was the blood of the corrupted old gods.
I hope there are multiple endings, good and bad.

Mobile castle building game ala Final Fantasy XV: New Empire...
What do you guys not have phones?!?
Haha jk jk
I think that it may be gathering a group together to fight off Solas' as he tries to purge the world of blight by destroying all life and starting over. Maybe the player character has to merge with a titan to be able to battle and ends up having the choice to follow through with Solas' plan, join with him or allow the continuous battle against the blight to continue.
