Favorite Post-2000 RPG/JRPG?

Arcanium, although the combat sucks more cock then a pornstar. It has the best world building and side quests of all time.I will fight anyone IRL who diagrees (JK).

Post 2000 huh, that's hard but I think JRPG I'm gonna go with Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep as a stand alone title. For Western RPG, I'd say probably Borderlands 2.

Probably not my absolute favorite but one of my favorites and the very first RPG I ever played was Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast. I actually beat the game once a week til eventually my Dreamcast sadly died.

The "Mass Effect Trilogy" as a whole is my favorite gaming experience but there are certainly other games worth mentioning.

Though made in '99, I didn't play "Planescape: Torment" until 2000 and it is my favorite game of all time.

Kotor 1&2 were both fantastic games and deserve a mention, as does the fabulous Jade Empire.

Divinity Original Sin 2 set a new bar for isometric style rpgs, hands down one of the best games in its genre.

But Witcher 3 still blows me away when I think about it and is probably the best actionrpg of the last decade.
