Without a doubt Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It have a great world, preety much all characters are likeable, great villains, fighting system might feel to easy but its still fun. It quickly entered my top 5 jrpg's of all time.
Oh it also have Nia, but its just my PP talking here now :3
Except Xenoblade my other fav games would be Persona 3,4 and 5 and last but not least Eternal Sonata

Yeah the more I think of it the more I want to play it again. I assume there's a section on the nexus for Morrowind?
Haha yeah Manslayer cracks me up.

Those are some great games. I even got bored of fallout 4 and went back to New Vegas.

I have to second Morrowind it was definitely my favorite post 2000 game. The lore was so incredibly rich and interesting, and had a grittier feel than its newer elder scrolls counterparts. Close second is Baldurs Gate 2 for me excellent villain,

Probably Mass Effect Trilogy as a whole. Kotor is great but I think Mass Effect surpassed it. Witcher series is up there as are Persona 4 and 5. I loved Morrowind as well... Haven't played it for over a decade, might see if I can get it running.

The very first RPG I played was Knights of the Old Republic, and it blew me away. KOTOR and KOTOR II are easily in my top 5, along with Fallout New Vegas and Dark Souls series. The OG Dark Souls was the last rpg to really rock me in terms of its lore and the pride of being able to make it through the game. That opening trailer is still the most badass thing I've seen in any game since. I'm so die hard about the series I've even made a particular character my namesake across a bunch of different platforms. Just wish they weren't finished making them.

I would probably go with Eternal Sonata from 2007. It scratched that JRPG (and RPG) itch on the young 360 and had a touching story with great visuals to boot. I still fondly remember it and can't really think of anything like it since. Of course I know there are games like it, but I haven't sat down and gotten into anything like it since so it holds a special place in my mind.
