I've played Persona 5 for 35 hours so far and it's a deep dark hole of JPRG goodness.

I broke down and got a PS4 after seeing Persona 5. It's awesome. Full of Japanese quirks and I can't see how this is any censored from the Japanese version (I'm guessing, I wouldn't know). Artwork is great. Music is very good, even if It looks a bit much. Overall, it gives you a very nice and fuzzy cool kid feeling. Downside? Linear as linear can be. Don't be fooled with all the potential side stuff, no, you have to get to bed in to time get to school in the morning and you won't be able to willy nilly do everything under the sun in one night. Actually an interesting way to simulate the time. However, there should be much more options to save during the long linear sections. It can go an hour sometimes before you get a chance, and that's a bummer.

That's all I'm gonna say. It's fun. It's a little frustrating. And there is a LOT about the mechanics I still don't understand. But I'm sure that I'm only ~15% in with 35 hours of game play, and it's all I want to play right now

I loved Persona 5. The game has quite possibly the most snazziest UI I've ever seen in a video game. Of course Masahiro Sakurai would comment on something like that though. I clocked in well over 100 hours on my first playthrough. I'd like to go back again someday and do the New Game + content and get the platinum trophy.

i finally purchased Persona 5 today,after not having played the franchise since the one on PS1. Definitely looking forward to sinking my teeth into it.

If you enjoyed this I recomend Persona 3 FES, Persona 4 Golden, Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne, SMT 4, SMT 4 Apcolypse, SMT Devil Survior Overclocked, Devil Survior 2 Record Braker, Soul Hackers, and Digital Devil Saga Parts 1 and 2. Yeah that's my thinking exactly, hopefully it'll be a DLC expansion rather than a re release, I don't want to pay again for 90-95% the same content.

The trailer had the PlayStation logo in it so I think it will be on Ps4 at least.

I swear to god, if they release it on Switch with more content than the original release like P4 Golden I will be pissed the hell off. It'd be great for SWitch owners to get their hands on the game, absolutely- but if there's additional content they better give the rest of their loyal buyers an expansion or something to that effect.

So I wonder what 'Persona 5 R' will be? I hope its not just a Switch port, I hope they do port it to Switch as well but I hope its added content like Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Fes were before and comes out on PS4or PC. I'd like a Vita version as well but I highly doubt that will happen.

I loved Persona 4, and rank it as one of my favorite games of all time. As much as I love P5, I'm not sure it surpasses P4 in my mind. I still play P4G on my Vita several times a year, and I always feel nostalgia when I hear Snowflakes. So good.

Loved the persona series since 3 and was blown away by how amazing 5 looked and played also the story was amazing. I was legit sad when I beat the game because it was over and now I'm hoping the next releases within the next 2 years

I spent almost 250 hours on this game so I could make it my 50th platinum. I love the characters, the story, the game play and the soundtrack is excellent too (although not as good as P4 Golden).

Persona5 was an incredible game. I never understood what to do with the personas you get for reaching lvl10 with the confidants since their level to make was always way higher than where I was, I guess I could make them for new game + but I'm worried they would be underpowered then because they would be too low level. Also instead of NG+ I'm waiting for the inevitable golden version and replaying it then.

Persona 5 is the first game I played on PS4. It's still my favorite game of current gen consoles, hence my picture of Joker. I got completely engrossed in the world and actually felt sad when I finished it because it was over.
