    Red Dead Redemption 2
    Review

    By Gregos Mithos

Firstly i would like to say i am so happy there is a place for "Real Gamer's"
To Review and talk about games with no politics.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Red Dead Redemption "who would have guessed" that was released in 2010 by Rock Star Studio's and one of my favorites game's on Xbox 360. This 2018 release of Red Dead redemption 2 is a Amazing Western Shooter with one of the biggest most detailed world to date in a game with a story that tops any from this studio in the past. The length Rock Star would go to immerse you in the experience of the Old West is amazing not to mention the eye for detail which i have. The single player experience is wonderful with Quest mission's and Npc's! "Hey Fallout 76 player's". The game is just now receiving its multiplayer Release but as of now i have yet to play it. i have over 100 hours into this game with many of night spent playing into the wee hours of the morning. Anyone looking for something new after GTA 5 and it's multiplayer will most-likely love this game. The common criticism is that traveling in game it slow and that the game is boring but i believe this is an uncommon if not just plain wrong if anything traveling is fast for 1899 with many way's as to be expected in the west Including Horse's,Train's and carriage's. Those of you looking for a fast paced streamlined game may not like this tho akin to Cooking you own meal Vs Takeout yes they may both be good but some prefer one over the other or a change time to time. Those Looking for a gift for a family member this season could do worse than getting them this experience and full game. For a full 60 USD this is a great price for it's single player alone not including it's multiplayer. Im looking forward to further update's to the game and were Rock Star will go with this game and others in the future.

If i had to rate this from Amazing, Good, Average or Terrible i would say.
    Its.......Amazingly Wonderful game.

I don't like your font choice, random text size, or formatting in general. Just saying that for you as its kind of troublesome to read.

As to your content man... keep it up! We need content and we need smart insightful people like you. Just make it easy to read, lol

I've seen a lot of YouTuber's and game critics rate rdr2 with nearly perfect scores. However, most of these scores were based off rdr2 single-player. Do you think rdr2 online (even though it's just in beta right now) should be factored in or do you think it should have a separate rating altogether?

One YouTube channel (I think YongYea or Laymen Gaming) discussed how today's trend for game companies is to see how far they can go with micro-transactions and, once players backlash, alleviate the issue somewhat. The channel essentially called it the "two steps back, one step forward" strategy. I personally feel the grindy-ness of the online component bumped the game down from a perfect score to around an eight. I'm going to reserve final judgment for after the new patch comes out and once the online leaves beta, but the grindy-ness and greediness of the first few days of the beta left a bad taste in my mouth.

I believe that in Red Dead 2 we must judge the Single Player and Online experiences on their own merits. I have not tried the Online play yet but as it has no direct link back to the Single Player game, meaning nothing you do in one mode will affect the other. So it seems only fair to judge them as such. I know that a big issue with the Online play was the small reward from matches compared to the cost of items. I think Rockstar has or will address this but even if the Online play turns out to be less than awesome, for me this will in no way take away from the amazing experience they have created in the Single Player game. Thanks for reading.

I agree! I often find myself choosing not to fast travel because I enjoy the music and the scenes through out the game. Getting my gear together, preparing for a hunt, and then heading out to the mountains....it's such an authenticish feeling. I have not finished the main story yet, but I'm just too immersed into the world right now to continue.

Did you play online yet? I thought it was great too! Fun roaming around with your pose/gang. Was a bit buggy at times, but that often made for some funny moments.

Red Dead Redemption 1 is one of my favorite games of all time and quite possibly the best ps3 game, so i had very high expectations towards the 2.
I am only at Chapter 4 but so far the game is simply amazing.
The way the story develops, the things you can or can not do, conversations you can or not have, etc, it feels so organic. Hell, even all the Feminist and KKK missions/situations felt organic, like something a person could experience in that era. Looting, hunting, fishing, all very well done.
        About Multiplayer i don't know and i don't care since i don't play online.

Forum about Collector Editions, Limited Editions, Game Collectibles, Statues, OST's

In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very unhappy and has widely been seen as a bad move.

I gave up the game after reach chapter 3, maybe I'm not in the mindset for a long and slow game.
From my gameplay about 65% of the time was going back-forth on horse.
Indeed it's a lot of content for the price, I'll let it stay installed for some time later when I find myself in the mood for it.
