Still a "rumor" at this point, but source again, comes from spot-on Thurrot, confirming what some of us have known for about a week.

What are your thoughts on Microsoft having two SKUs from the start of the generation?
What are your thoughts on the people who think Scarlett won't have a hard drive lol?

I'm not sure customers will get it right away, but I've been saying the future of iterative consoles is going to be different models, payment plans, deals and subscription bills etc targeted at different people, with your gear staying compatible for as long as possible and everything carrying forward until it's just not supported. Basically like phones. It's definitely something that needs salespeople and stores though, imo. Someone to either upsell a customer or tell them why the cheaper option is perfectly fine.

I'll save up for the best one and I need my disc drive (still buy a lot of physical games and a movies). tbh, I'd rather pay for resolution and framerate than load times in regards to an SSD. I don't think I can do this more than every 3 years though. I can't see myself owning an 8K 120hz display before 2025 no matter how fast the game hardware moves.
