Didn't see anything in the link you posted that refuted anything I said or linked to.

You just go on believing whatever makes you happy.

Your posting is really, really interesting. Too bad it doesnt have too much in common with business reality: https://newzoo.com/insights/articles...mes-take-half/

PC gaming is nothing more then a niche. Not much of a "PC master race" at all out there .

    Spoken like a peasant.

SALES, DEMOGRAPHIC,AND USAGE DATA Published by the esa.

    Page 5
    HOW MANY US HOUSEHOLDS PLAY
    GAMES ON THE FOLLOWING DEVICES?

    41% PERSONAL COMPUTER

    36% SMARTPHONE

    36% DEDICATED GAME CONSOLE

    24% WIRELESS DEVICE

Looks like as many casuals on smart phones as peasants on consoles.
And for "...a small niche..." it looks like more folks are using their PCs to game with.

    DSOG
"As we can see, PC gaming accounts for 28% of the total game market in 2017, whereas consoles (this includes all consoles) accounts for 29%. As such, and if we compare the PC individually with each console, we can easily see how more profitable PC gaming actually is."

"...the biggest video-game market right now is the mobile which accounts for 43%."
Don't the casuals know consoles are better? lol

Then you are using the perfect platform ... for getting no anime games. Steam banned anime games now, cause some of them are too offensive! Isnt it good that some puritans could tell you whats fine for you and what not? And BTW The same thing is happening at Sony. Cause nowadays not Sony HQ in Japan tells what you should play, but instead the NPC Sony HQ at the USA. And they now banned anime games not only in europe and the USA (as we already know), but instead even within Japan. So if you like to play anime games .... get a Switch. Yes, thats Nintendo, which avoided any blood or sex in their NES and SNES games. But now they have no anti-anime policy at all! Which is why many anime game developers are switching from the PS4 to the Switch. Isnt the Switch an awesome platform ?

Almost exclusively PC these days, my PS4 is just used for anime now, especially since Sony's censorship crusade vs most Japanese games and the PC ports of said Japanese games are improving.

agreed. Love the Switch. I was a nay sayer at first. However after thinking about it, I realized it was actually pretty good and bought it day 1. Camped out for midnight launch to actually get one. I realized that even in the house its so nice to just pick it up and go in any room I want. I often use it before bed too. Battery life is kind of the biggest want, but isn't it always? For the price, it is quite a good little system and I'm not the biggest stickler of grahphics, so long as it runs well and the art style is executed well, I think we've had perfectly fine graphics since the PS3/Xbox 360 days.

Time to become unpopular : Theres right now only one real gaming platform: Indeed, its the Nintendo Switch. Ive used sometimes PCs (too expensive to keep them recent) and mostly the Playstation 4 before the Switch. But it isnt the same thing. The Switch is the best breakthrough in gaming since .... the Commodore 64 . You take your console with you. Whereever you want! Just pull it out of the dock and enter the prepaid code you just got from the web. You drive at your vacation. And sometimes vacations are boring. But this time you got your complete console with you. I found this idea so amazing. There is nothing comparable to the Swtch right now (perhaps beside Ultrabooks). I dont mention tablets, cause tablets are mainly for clueless pay2win money transaction losers (take a look at the Top 50 Best income games in the Play Store. Almost all games there are pay2win money transaction tools).

I had a few dozen games for the Playsation 4. But since I got the Switch the Playstation 4 is mainly used for playing video streams (thanks dumb Nintendo for not offering a Netflix client after more then 1.5 years!!!) and the few interesting Playstation 4 exclusives (most often they are a huge disappointment like Gran Turiso Sport).

This is also backed by the fact, that Sony is now controlled by its SJW US branch. They not only force their puritanical NPC view of the world to us europeans and americans. No, now they also start to ban games within Japan (if it doesnt fit to their fun free view of the world). And here comes the real surprise: Nintendo (yes, the Nintendo which avoided any drop of blood and even mentioning sex in any NES or SNES game) doesnt have such a policy. Thats why many developers in Japan switching from the PS4 to the Switch.

I skipped the whole of the last console generation. I've been on PC, 3DS and Switch. I play some gameboy games every so often too. Sony and Microsoft haven't convinced me to play their exclusives. I loved Halo, but since Bungie was torn apart and Halo got ruined by devs who didn't even know who the protagonist of the game was...well I had no reason to expect the series to be anything anymore. Even the new Halo game I expect to be a total and utter failure. Now that being said, if Kingdom Hearts 3 turns out to be a good game I might buy one of them for that. But with so many games on PC and Switch that I've enjoyed, I feel not pressure.

    The switch is surprisingly good.
I find the battery life to be very short but I also don't pay attention to how long I've been playing it.
Working...
