My top 3 would definitely be Franck Klepacki (hell's match is an absolute masterpiece and I love the C&C games), Mick Gordon (love Doom's and Wolfenstein the new order's soundtrack) and Darren Korb for his work on both Bastion's and Transistor's soundtrack

I don't really follow track names or many composers, though I've listened to a lot of Uematsu (?). So I'll just name games with soundtracks I like a lot.
The Last of Us
Mass Effect series
Final Fantasy series, 7 in particular
Elder Scrolls series (Jeremy... Soule??)
Battlefield 4 and (mostly) 1

Nobuo Uematsu is one of the greatest composers that transcended the timeline of video games from the early days of midi to now. His work on Final Fantasy XIV was really amazing and even though FF7 was my personal Favorite the music he composed in FF8 was some of his best.Just because you can
Doesn't mean you should
