It's really tough to say...there are so many great soundtracks...BUT whenever I see this question, I can't deny that Chrono Cross immediately jumps into my mind.

So many bad ass soundtracks, how can someone just name one?
    Final Fantasy games
    Mario games
    Xenogears
    Chrono Cross
These are just a few of many that are great.

I like that this version shows you clearly those cold synth textures... very spacey... daym son.. feels...
The original author was composing for MGS series under Kojima before, so no surprise it turns out well refined.
But overall Kojima has some incredibly good and original take when it comes to sound design in his games.

that's some heavy blues mate !, i wouldn't expect that sound after looking at the game's screenshots, haha , but sounds very cool anyway.

Tom yeah it's a very raw version which feels like it makes it more urgent or something. I thought Low Roar had an excellent soundtrack too, Kojima and his team really know how to pick their music.

wowsie! saw this vid , yeah, already a DS/Low Roar/Silent poets fan all thanks to kojima, but i am not adding it to my list just because the game is not out yet), was fascinated with this raw cover version and video footage too, being a hobbyist electronic composer myself.

Death Stranding and all it's offspring mixes. I actually prefer this unofficial one:

And as a previous poster said, Red Alert had some awesome music. Also, the opening theme of MGS4 was very dramatic and goosebumpy.

I really liked that one too, but it was too noisy even for my taste to just casually listen to immersion aside )
Working...
