Not exactly authentic to the game, but I like it just as well.

Anything from the original Bungie Halo games. Marty O'donnell is a legend to me and I will love the music from those games forever. Also the Nier Automata sound track is just beautiful and I love it as well. Especially the final track Weight of the World, that song mixed with how Nier ends made me ball my eyes out. In fact just listening to it makes me ball my eyes out. Just beautiful. I recommend everyone check it out.

The Final Fantasy X soundtrack will probably always be my favorite, especially ‘To Zanarkand’ and ‘Suteki Da Ne’. That game made me cry like a baby, and the music definitely helped push out those tears. Witcher 3’s soundtrack is a very close second, though. Every track was perfectly atmospheric ^^

Frank Klepacki is one of my favourite composers. His work on the Command & Conquer series are just amazing.

Then there are the obvious ones, Noubo Uematsu for his work on the Final Fantasy games, Martin O'Donnell for the Halo soundtracks, Toby Fox for his music in Undertale and Deltarune, Konami Kukeiha Club for their music on most Konami game soundtracks.

Also, I really like soundtracks like Guardian Heroes, GoldenEye 007, Unreal Tournament, Jazz Jackrabbit, Sonic Adventure 1&2, EarthBound, Snowboard Kids and Ristar.

Square was a large part of my youth so Nobuo Uematsu is definitely my favorite Japanese game composer. There are too many iconic and nostalgia-inducing things he's written for me to name anyone else as my absolute favorite. Not that others don't come close, mind you. As a recent example, I love some of the crazy stuff FF 14's composer, Masayoshi Soken, gets into to when they finally set him free, instead of making him remix old FF music.

On the western side of things, Jeremy Soule. If you don't know what he's done, he's composed for many games, but the most famous are probably Kotor, the Elder Scrolls series since Morrowind, and Guild Wars. I could listen to anything from Guild Wars at any time and be a happy camper.

My favorite soundtracks all come from Japanese games.
Final Fantasy 6 and Okami are my favorites.
I also love pretty much anything Jun Maeda has done for Key's visual novels, Little Busters being my favorite.

    Mass Effect series

    COD MW, 2, 3.
