Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville
i hadn’t even realized I’d spent hundreds of hours playing it until I checked my steam hours. It’s my second most played game besides Garry’s mod.
Its a tile based, city reclaiming, zombie game, much better than its two predecessors. I highly recommend playing it. Even the first and second game have experiences of their own.

i agree with FTL. I suck at roguelikes but it has been one of the ones i have had the most fun with.

Out of the ones i've played this year, my two favorite would have to be Rivals of Aether and Slap City.
Both are great games if you want your fill of Smash but don't want to fork out 60 bucks for ultimate(300 more if you have to also by a switch).
I'd recommend RoA if you want a bit more competitive and serious smash clone and Slap City if you want a fun and more comedic version of smash.

I already played the shit out of the first one with my friend, tho we never got to finish it, so I'm already passed the learning curve. Respecing would be very welcome, considering how far you had to come in D:OS 1 to respec. I just haven't played D:OS 2 much because I'm holding out to play it with a best friend (auditions now open), much more fun that way.

I really can't pick one favorite and the definition of indie gets muddy, but some of my favorites are:
Nex Machina
Castle Crashers
Mark of the Ninja
Mother Russia Bleeds
BroForce
Stealth Inc 1 & 2
Inside
Fez

DOS2 is an excellent game, it set a new bar for crpgs the way Witcher 3 set a new bar for adventure rpgs. The learning curve can be pretty steep in the beginning but you get the hang of it by the time you leave the first island and, thankfully, the option of respecing anytime you like after ACT 1 is very helpful.

Subnautica is a really impressive one, all things considered.

Of all time? I have no idea. Just gonna grab something obscure from last generation... Chime. Chime was really fun and stylish. Made me feel good to play it. The puzzling was genuinely refreshing. Easy to play, hard to master. Let's go with Chime.
you'd be wrong, lol.Originally posted by Noobc0re View PostIgnoring Undertale(and Deltarune), what is your favorite indie game and why?
(the reason for no Undertale is just that I suspect it would be too dominant)

Stasis was a great game, for some reason I wasn't able to get into Cayne - it didn't feel as intuitive, maybe.
