How long have you been gaming and what are your top 5 games of all time?

I honestly don't know when I started to play video games. If Game & Watch counts, it could have been somewhere around the age of 2 or 3 (for 31 or 30 years). If only console games and PC count, it was around the age of 4 (for 29 years).

My top 5 games are (basing this list on how much I wanted to play them around the time when they were new and how much this feeling persisted)

1. Super Mario 64
2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
3. Sonic 3 + Sonic & Knuckles
4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
5. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

The first game I remember playing on a PC was Frontier Elite II which came out in 1993 and I was 36. So I have been playing computer games for 25 years. I had started with table top games like Strategy and Tactics magazine games since I was 15 (I think).

My top 5 games are (most fond memories):
1. Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim (played for over 1200 hours but never finished the game....oh, look shiny!)
2. Mount and Blade
3. System Shock (scary)
4. System Shock 2 (the monkeys scared the crap out of me)
5. Far Cry 2

Wow, you started young. I wish I could have had such a head start.

I first started gaming when I was in middle school and the game that truly stuck and is still very near and dear to my heart today is Starwars Battlefront 2. A little after that, I got into Halo 1.
