Looking for horror game suggestions

Condemned for PS3 and 360.

I would play the game with all the lights off in complete darkness in surround sound and it use to scare the hell out of me and people watching me play

Came here to post this - Condemned was the one game which really had me on edge. Most horror games aren't frightening, Condemned is the exception. Second one is 'ok' but they ramped up the "monsters" and along with constant encounters most of the suspense was gone. Same thing happened with Dead Space 2 compared to the first (vastly superior) game.

I think I was desensitized when I played Condemned because I only felt scared in the old orchard. The rest of the game doesn't really feel like a horror game to me. It helps to relieve stress more than it creates any. Afterall, the gameplay consists mostly of sending psychopaths' teeth flying across the room by bashing them in the face with 2by4's with rusty nails sticking out of them.

The department store freaked me out quite a bit - I'd started getting on edge in the library.
