    The last Star Wars video game story mode you thoroughly enjoyed.

    Just recently beat KOTOR and had a lot of fun with both the light and dark side stories and choices and would love some suggestions for some fresh Star Wars. Thanks!

    Kotor 2 is an excellent game, though be sure to get the restoration mod to fix the ending of the game. Number 2 introduces Kreia, one of the best characters in all of Star Wars.

      I was looking into playing that earlier but then I started looking into Jedi Academy and stuff. Think I'll pick it up later today with the restoration mod but like Kotor 1 was a big time sink and I don't think I'm ready for that again.

    The last would probably have been a couple of the character stories from SWTOR...like Agent and Smuggler. I also enjoyed KOTFE quite a bit. But before that....KOTOR 2 and Republic Commando.

      Jedi Outcast/Academy? The Force Unleashed also has a good, self-contained story. Nothing extraordinary, but classic Star Wars.

      I guess people will recommend KOTOR II, but I was never a fan of it...

        Really liked The Force Unleashed when I was younger and tried picking up 2 recently but didn't really get hooked and just kinda set it down and forgot about it.

      dont like rpgs so never played kotor etc.

        The only reason I'd suggest kotor is the neat Bioware dialog options. But in all honesty if your looking for that pick up Mass Effect lol

      The Force Unleashed 2. I really felt like I was in control of a sith (or apprentice, I don't remember now) and the game was pure fanservice, which is all I ask for in a Star Wars game.

        The Force Unleashed II is visually excellent, and has more refined gameplay than it's predecessor. But storywise, it's not really good. Neither is its longevity for that matter.

        I tried playing force unleashed 2 and I just kinda set it down because I was playing Devi May Cry at the time and I just enjoyed that combat better so I put it on hold then I just kinda uninstalled it later. It's on gamepass so I'll probably play it again.

        I played Kotor 1&2 way back on teh original Xbox (always itching to replay on PC but I have just too many unplayed games to justify that) and love them but the last SW game I enjoyed was The Force Unleashed, havn't really played a Star Wars game for the 1st time since then.

          Yeah I think I'm just gonna uhhh "get" 2 till I can afford it because I'm pretty broke rn because the big ol' Christmas because I had a blast playing 1. I just need some fresh star wars in my life rn. just an itch i have I guess lol

        Definitely Republic Commando. So much fun. Best squad game I've ever played.

        The OId Replublic had/has some issues, but the quality of the stories is not one of them. I'm pretty sure that's the most recent game I've enjoyed.

        I'm still pissed about the misrepresentation of the Battlefront II story.

        "Play from the Imperial point of view..." until the second chapter when the main character commits treason and ruins the whole game for me.

          HOW? I have never seen such bad friendly AI in a game. Every enemy is a bullet sponge, breaching and hacking are minigames based entirely on waiting for twenty seconds, and it's insulting to the concept of control itself to describe its mouse... behavior as mouse "control". Fighting the Combine with the random citizens in Half-Life 2 is a better squad game than Republic Commando.

            KOTOR 2 for me, funnily enough it's also the last Star Wars game I played.

            If Obsidian had've been given more time on it that game would have been one of the best RPG experiences ever created.
