After the initial hype settled down I came across this vid and can't disagree. Still like them all, though. (Ascension least tbh)

God of War 2018 is what the franchise needed. The formula had grown stale after 6 games and I wasn't interested in another GoW after Ascension. Kratos was a terrible 1 dimensional character imo and Cory Barlog actually made him interesting.
