no you are the dense one. why would you want to hide your shortcomings? i dont know. i wear my achievements and underacheivements on my shoulder proudly. but people are dishonest and try to cover it up by projecting outward. you seem oddly interesting in this narrative here on a subject about calling me a liar, lol. like i said, i can only guess. in any case, i think the convo is over here.

I wanted to play through the Quintet SNES stuff since I had only played Actraiser 2 back then.
I started Illusion of Gaia but didn't actually finish it.
Gotta edit my post since I remember I actually beat the original Actraiser a few weeks before Actraiser 2.

Why would I want to "mask underachievement"? The fact that you think that is some kind of thing others would want to do simply shows that it is something you would do yourself, ergo you must think there is some kind of kudos to be had in it. Personally I don't derive self-worth from how many games I've beaten as I think it is pretty irrelevant. Conversely you seem to think it is very important....you post a thread about it, you get offended when people don't give you respect you think you are due, you accuse others of feeling inadequate because they don't complete as many games as you do. You're simply projecting your insecurities onto others. You have repeatedly insinuated I am accusing you of lying, despite me being quite explicit that I'm not you are still making that claim. Again this simply highlights your own insecurities and nothing else. I'll reiterate as it seems I have to constantly repeat myself and maybe one time it will sink it....I did not accuse you of lying, I said that the games you completed could not have been particularly substantial.

Honestly, I think it is you who is overplaying your incredulity. If you want the truth, I think you were just being a dick to mask your gaming underachievement, feigning disbelief. I mean, I just linked you my thread and you immediately turned the conversation to how dense I apparently am. acknowledgment coming at a"later date," lol. If I wanted to play fucking games, I'd fire up my Xbox.

MGS5, Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall. I ended up revisiting those games a lot this year.

I think you're overplaying your incredulity. If you told anyone they beat a game a week they'd think much the same thing, that those games couldn't have been very substantial. I don't know why you're struggling to grasp such a simple concept.

Subnautica (my game of the year)
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
    State of Decay 2
    Hitman
    Superhot
Monster Hunter: World (close second for game of the year)
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon (easily the worst ace combat game)
The Witcher 3 (took me 2 years to beat it)
Fallout 76 (All main quest lines and lvl 50)
Northgard (the story is fun and short)

    Almost done with:

like i said, it is sad and pathetic that in the gaming community, it "looks" like i am either lying or padding my experience. i think that has more to do with you, my friend. i mean, if i told you how much i can bench press, would your automatic response be to scoff at me or pretend i am cheating or making it up in some way? of course not. only ion gaming. sad that is the way things are these days.

Yes, that's how it looks to me, and obviously others too. I didn't say you were a liar, merely that many of the games you beat could not have been very substantial, or you have a different definition of "beat". I look forward to seeing the list at a later date.

    @Aidy
That's the way it looks to you? I find it very sad and unfortunate that predominantly with gaming, when someone casually posts their achievements or exploits, does the community automatically think you are a liar. Maybe I was going to save the actual list for a thread of my own, like I previously said: https://www.exclusivelygames.com/for...onal-goty-2018
