    Skyrim Afterlife

So this is pretty forward I want to know when your character where in Oblivion will they end up and why. Personally as a werewolf and the unofficial leader of the Companions I see Hircine hunting ground as my home. It’s the only one I’m willing to go as some quests can’t be completed unless you sell your soul *cough Nocturna coagh* If I had to pick a second option it would be Azura, she seams to care about her followers.

That's a tricky question.... especially considering how many higher forces would have a claim on your soul by the time you do all daedric quests, become a vampire/werewolf, join the Nightingales, become Hermaus Mora's bitch (whether you want to or not, it seems) and so on..... Maybe they could all hold a competition to see who gets you?
Not sure which I'd prefer, tbh- Sovngarde sounds cool at first, but being surrounded by a bunch of drunk warriors for eternity sounds crap in the long term. FUCK going to Molag Bal's hell for vampires.... Working for Nocturnal sounds like a drag too- "stay here and guard the Sepulcher that hardly ever gets visited forever."
CHIM sounds awesome- never knew that was a thing.

Perfect, thanks. Didn't know that was what transformed Talos.
If CHIM would have been a part of the Drangonborns story that'd be really dope.

In Skyrim CHIM was achieved by Talos and it is how he changed the wilderness of Skyrim to be more forest like. For more information here is a good video which explains the lore of the universe and CHIM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV0VYZx3Sjc

This CHIM thing does sound really intresting and would actually solve some questions.
Can you find information about it in Skyrim? Because I never found any

The afterlife is one of the things that i thought of as very poorly implemented for the exact same reasons you mentioned. You can't even refuse to join the nightingales.
To be completely frank, vanilla Skyrim was ocean wide and puddle deep. I would have only played it once if I couldn't mod it to the prim. Mods elevate this game so high it's not even funny.

My personal gripe with afterlifes in media (most of the time) is that it greatly lessens the fatality of death since they are all going to chill in Sovngarde anyways... (yea I know only brave Nords go there °L°)
It's ok in Warhammer because you definitely don't want to die there but more often then not whoever dies just changes form and that kills it for me every time ;(

That’s deep...wonder if there a mod for that. Sounds really cool.

In the Elder scrolls lore there is something known as CHIM which is basically when an individual reaches a level of understanding about the universe and they become completely aware of there position in it they can achieve CHIM which gives them godlike powers and they can shape the world around them as they please. I believe that after the dragonborn has completed all the quests in the game that they would achieve CHIM.
