since I have Amazon Prime, I generally buy from Amazon since I'll get the game the day it comes out. They generally have decent prices on used games, though I also buy some on ebay. Don't think I've bought a game in store in years.

For logistical reasons, exclusively Steam & GoG in recent months, 'cos I'm in a non-anglophone country and the localisation for a lot of games I play just doesn't exist, while for the rest, being an English speaker, just comes off as cringy as f*** or plainly terrible. English to Chinese transliteration sucks absolute balls.

I usually go to GameStop for brand new games, I wouldn’t but it’s the only option I have. Check out lukie games for retro shit they usually have good deals

GameStop because they're right up the road from where I live.

    Otherwise, Amazon or digital.

I live in Australia, so I mostly get my stuff from EB Games and JB Hi-Fi. Been doing it so long they all know me, and its nice to have discussions about random game shit like I do here with them.

If I make a digital order it's mostly through mightyape.

Just Steam for years. I'm surprised to hear so many people buying physical copies.

The end of Best Buy's Gamer's Club Unlocked, followed by the very predictable end of Amazon's Prime preorder discount, has really changed the landscape for physical games for me. I'm honestly not sure where I will buy them, but I am pretty sure I will buy less and/or wait longer to buy them.

In terms of digital, I generally go where the best deal is, though if everything is the same price, I'd buy games with achievements on Steam and games without on GOG.

Most of my game purchases have been digital, but for the times I buy retail... I hit up best buy. My local best buy has amazing staff. 90% of them are gamers around my age (late 20s/early 30s). Always a good time.
